    I have this question.
I want to connect such a light bulb from the picture in a place where there is no internet, but I want to connect a router there, which we know will distribute some kind of router network there, will it go through something like this that will configure this light bulb with this network from the router and will it work?
Unfortunately I can't test this myself right now as I'm at work, and valuable advice will help me get ready for tomorrow.
    Thanks.

If it can be controlled via BT (as advertised) then no router is needed.

I have now managed to figure it out and have it bulb in the destination but I don't have that router, unfortunately after BT it doesn't want to work at all.
I put it in pairing mode after BT and it screams that it needs WiFi to pair so I've tarted it up where I have the network configured, brought it to where there is no WiFi and no connection to it.

In any case, WiFi alone without internet access will not do the job.
The only thing I can suggest is to check everything again.
Take it to where the internet is and switch it on with and without internet and see how it behaves.

And you can't control the bulb by radio and not over WIFI which is not there.

I think this is the direction I will go in.
I wanted the Philips ones because they are very good, they shine very well and strongly in colours, and it is the colours that I care most about.
