Topics covered at the fair included lighting and heating control systems, IoT solutions, security systems, photovoltaics, LED lighting, voice assistants and the integration of various devices into a single, coherent smart building infrastructure. The stands showcased both complete smart home systems and individual components: control modules, measurement apparatus, actuators, installation hardware and tools used in the work of installers.
An integral part of the event was the conference programme, which included lectures and discussion panels devoted to the practical aspects of designing, implementing and operating building automation systems. The highlight of the exhibition was the new line of wireless home automation system devices ABB-free@home® , which enables easy installation and flexible smart home configuration without the need for additional wiring.
On display at the ABB stand were the new socket and wall switch accessories Zoni® , dedicated to homes and flats, combining functionality with modern design. In response to the growing importance of energy efficiency, advanced energy management systems Energy Edge and InSite were also on display.
Show attendees were able to see the updated collection of premium wall fittings, including the Busch-art linear, future linear, Busch-axcent pur, Sky Niessen and Zenith S series.
An important element was the presentation of the possibilities of integrating the home automation system with other platforms and devices, creating a coherent smart home ecosystem.
The fair also featured two speeches by ABB experts. Piotr Tenderowicz presented a 'Wireless Smart Home solution based on ABB-free@home® devices', dispelling the most common myths related to the implementation of smart home solutions and showing modern control methods without the need to prepare a special electrical installation. Krzysztof Sasin presented the topic of 'Energy management based on weather forecasts', demonstrating how to use meteorological data to optimise energy consumption and reduce building maintenance costs.
During the event, ABB representatives received the main award for product innovation and quality and for their contribution to the development of the smart home sector.

The Smart Home Expo 2026 saw the premiere presentation of the proprietary DoEstimate tool - a system that enables automatic pricing of Smart Home installations based on a PDF home design in just a few minutes. The solution has already been used by dozens of people - investors, installers and integrators - who were able to check the real cost of building automation for their investment on site.
A fully working demonstration of a smart home system based on Loxone and KNX technologies was also prepared at the stand. Visitors had the opportunity to test, among other things, Basalte push buttons, a multi-room audio system, an intercom with doorbell function and camera viewing, as well as lighting control and lighting scenes. In this way, visitors were able to see in practice how modern building automation works and the impact it has on the comfort of everyday life.

The Smart Home fair showcased a range of practical electrical and building automation training courses aimed at those wishing to develop real technical competence. A comprehensive approach to education was presented, covering both the solid basics of electrical installations as well as issues relating to metering, earthing, surge protection, alarm systems and modern Smart Home systems - in both wired and wireless versions.
The stand showed how an effective path is built for the acquisition of practical skills - from structured theoretical knowledge, through concrete examples from implementation, working with tools and accessories, to actual implementation, installation commissioning and further expert support. This education model reflects the ELDAGO approach, where the focus is on preparing for independent and informed work in the technical field.
Special attention was given to the Smart Home i3 - a wired building automation system designed m... for single-family homes, which can be implemented without classical programming. The solution was presented as a practical alternative to more complex systems, enabling the realisation of functional building automation in a way that is accessible to installers and electricians.
It was also emphasised that ELDAGO's activities are not limited to online and onsite training, but include real implementation support. At Smart Home 2026, the company presented its F&Home system, which has been reviewed many times on our portal. This time, F&F focused on demonstrating the system's cooperation with the Domino series of glass buttons, integration with the Satel alarm system and the Yamaha audio system.
The manufacturer's stand also showcased the new economical mH-DEVELOPER MINI server series, designed for smaller and medium-sized installations.
