Hello. I am currently designing a gate automation system and need to connect a BFT Phobos BT 25 kit to a Thalia BT A80 controller with two pairs of photocells. I would also like to add a physical button to open the gate from inside the house, using the OXT smart gate motor module with Wi-Fi and an Orno GAYD OR-VID-MA-1081/B two-family video intercom system with two motors and an additional physical button to open the side gate from the courtyard. I’ve pretty much got the cabling sorted (cables laid out), but the idea of connecting the gate controller to the video intercom and Wi-Fi, plus those two buttons, is a bit daunting, as I don’t want to mess anything up.
I’m asking you, dear forum users, for a step-by-step explanation of exactly what to connect where, or perhaps a simple wiring diagram, so that everything works as it should. I’m doing this myself. I’ve attached some photos.

You cannot connect this OXT module, as it is a control transmitter that operates via ZigBee and Tuya.
In theory, you could purchase a module with relays to control the gate’s electronics. However, you would also need a gateway to bring it all together.
On the BFT controller, you have the IC1 and IC2 inputs, as well as the STOP input, which you can use to carry out programmed functions, such as opening the gate, tilting the gate for pedestrians, or controlling the opening of the wicket gate.
The STOP contact also allows you to stop and lock the gate in any position.
For example, you can programme IC1 to open and close the gate, which can close automatically after opening following a set time, e.g. after 10 or 15 seconds.
By momentarily opening and closing the STOP contact, you can stop the operator in any position of the gate. To unlock it, press the open/close button.

To summarise, you cannot connect this OXT module directly to this gate operator without an additional Zigbee gateway and a Zigbee relay module, as the operator itself does not support Zigbee or Tuya control.

Another solution is to use the Tuya system. In that case, you will need a Tuya relay module, but the entire control system will then be managed via a cloud (server) located in China.

As for control via a video doorphone, you have the COM and NO contacts on the Gate connector, which need to be connected to IC1 or IC2, as well as the COM contact on IC.
Of course, for this to work, you’ll also need to configure the behaviour of the IC1 or IC2 contacts in the BFT controller settings.
