    Hello everyone,

I am trying to repair a Toshiba LCD TV.

    Model: Toshiba 32LL3A63DG

    Main board: Vestel 17MB211S-R1
    Power supply: 17IPS62
    Panel/T-CON: HV320FHB-N00

    Symptoms:

    - The TV powers on normally.
    - The Toshiba logo appears for less than one second.
    - Immediately afterwards the screen becomes completely black.
    - No image is visible with a flashlight.
    - The front LED stays green for about 2-3 minutes, then changes to red (standby).
    - Pressing Power starts the TV again and the same sequence repeats.

    Measurements already made:

    - 5V rail = 5.07V
    - 3.3V rail = OK
    - CPU heatsink becomes warm.
    - USB ports work correctly.

    USB behaviour:

    - Every USB stick is detected.
    - The TV automatically creates the DVR folder structure.
    - The USB LED flashes continuously while the TV is running.

    Firmware:

I tried USB recovery using the package:

    MB211_TOS_QUI_Shredder_V333100_SVN_312912

    (files:
    shredder_usb_update.bin
    shredder_usb_update.scr)

The TV behaviour changed slightly after the update attempt, but the fault remains.

    Could this be:

    - wrong firmware,
    - corrupted SPI flash,
    - corrupted eMMC,
    - or another common failure on the 17MB211S-R1?

If anyone has the exact firmware for this model or has seen this symptom before, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

    Thank you very much.
