I posted a thread about NFC wireless charging last time, and I’d like to share more relevant details this time.
Conventional Qi wireless charging can easily deliver over 5 W of power, with certain proprietary protocols even exceeding 25 W. However, it is solely designed for power charging in most cases.
According to the documents I’ve reviewed, the maximum output power of NFC WLC 2.0 hits 3 W. Still, it is positioned for low-power charging ranging from 0.1 W to 1 W. One prototype solution I worked on only achieves 200 mW charging power. The highlight is that the same antenna can be reused for data communication while charging is ongoing.
AI: What specific feedback or help are you looking for here: validation of NFC WLC feasibility, comparison with Qi charging, improvement of your 200 mW prototype, or discussion of antenna reuse during charging?
