    Hi there. Has anyone tried their hand at setting up a ‘smart home’? I’ve started putting something together bit by bit, but I just can’t seem to get it right! Do you perhaps have any links, or your own sketches, drawings and ideas? Cheers in advance!

    I’ve been working on the electrical installations for this sort of house over the summer holidays (for the third year running – wiring, installing switchboards and connecting circuits) using the EIBA system.     Hello, mate.
    On the Moeller website, there’s a downloadable file called the Installer’s Guide, which contains a smart home (villa) installation design using the company’s products. It includes drawings and specifications that you can adapt to suit your needs. As I’m writing this post, I can’t remember the link. I have the full file on my hard drive, but it’s about 8MB.

    A house that does things on its own ;) Like turning off the lights, for example ;) Or if you don’t lock the door and just walk off, it’ll send you a text message reminding you that you’ve forgotten to lock the house, and other bits and bobs like that :D
