    Hello
how many disks can be connected to one computer?
I can see on the tapes that there are still free seats, but I have a strange feeling that there are only two

    withe

you know, it all depends on the motherboard.
the most common configurations are 2xsata + 1x2 or 2x2 ata
which means you can give 4/6 of the agreements
of course, you can still connect a USB disk or, for example, buy an additional disk controller, so the number is not really limited, but in my humble opinion it is better to buy a larger disk.

that is, a motherboard with a dual-channel PATA (Parallel ATA) controller.
One tape for each channel, two devices for each tape (disk, PATA optical drive). One drive as master, the other as slave.
It is worth remembering that the entire channel works only as fast as the slower of the two devices (it is not worth connecting the optical drive and the hard disk on one channel).
When it comes to capacity and the computer will be replaced one day, it may be worth investing in a SATA (Serial ATA) controller for PCI and a larger SATA disk.
