    Hello and welcome !
    The problem is as follows:
How to open the ACAR electrical strip non-invasively. As long as it is of course possible. Let me just say that it has no visible screws. It is probably composed of snap-on pieces of plastic. Metal pins are visible (in places where theoretically there should be screws). Does anyone know how to figure it out?
    Regards
I will try to send photos.
Thank you in advance for your help !

    These metal pins are rivets.
It looks like there is no need for an invasion.
    These rivets can be:
    1. Pressed into the adjacent part of the bar - you can then try to take them out by pressing the blade between the complex elements of the bar.
    2. Upset - things look worse here ...
Take a look at the end of the rivet.

Recently, I was taking a strip apart (I don't remember the company). What appeared to be rivets were in fact regular metal screws (like M3) with flat heads without a notch. The mounted toto was probably hammered into "cooperating" plastic sleeves. It should work delicately drilling the head, wedging something in the hole and unscrewing something, but I'm not sure ... In total, you can also use a left-handed drill and slow revolutions. While trying to drill these "rivets", I heated them so much that they started to rotate and melted the collars against which they rested ;) After opening the casing, I unscrewed the plastic "rivets" with pliers, and after stretching the strip, I gave the plastic screws - fortunately, the plastic sleeves were not damaged during "drilling". It looks worse than the original, but somehow it holds up ;)

I am well aware that more than 10 years have passed since the answer, but the thread has not been closed / resolved and the strip is still on sale and is very popular.
My strip is an Acar S8, but it is identical to the S5, as you can see in the pictures.

    How to open it?
The colleague above is right. The strip is screwed on with bolts with smooth heads. They can be replaced after repair, the bar is threaded (not rivets). Inside, by the switch, a varistor, which I did not find by the numbers in the store (burnt at my place). The fuse is closed in a riveted "box". Fixing it is not as easy as I expected, I am thinking of replacing it with a classic 5x20 fuse.

In my opinion, it is possible to open the ACAR S10 skirting board invasively by sawing off the fixing screws with smooth heads (M3 x 18.5) with a hacksaw. I did it yesterday. I sawed the minimal gaps in the screws and unscrewed the screws with a flat screwdriver without any problems. I replaced the used switch, which is typical for these strips, and twisted the strip with a kind of sheet metal screws. Of course, there were oversaws in the plastic housing at the sawing points. It doesn't matter to me. I left without filling. In my opinion, the strip, after repair, also fulfills its mechanical function.
