The front continental lamp has light beams raised to the right. However, the English version - to the left.
To check this, stop about 10 - 15m in front of a bright wall and shine the dipped beam headlights.

Reflector. As you can deduce for yourself, in right-hand traffic, the right lamp illuminates the roadside, and thus has a differently shaped reflector, and left-hand traffic is analogous.
Except that the left lamp illuminates the roadside, the adjustment will not help, you have to replace the lamps.

And now take the car to the other side without changing the lamp - you are giving it to the eyes of the road :-)

And here is the situation like podjezdzach in front of the wall, as a colleague wrote above: Understanding Differences Between UK and Continental Car Headlamps

I met the markings on the lamps in the form of LHD and RHD, I think the continental one is LHD (left Hand Driwing) for the UK it is RHD (Right Hand Driving), I do not know if such a mark is in Skoda

In the case of a lens / xenon, you can also see through the bulb's opening the profiling of the aperture, if the left side (looking through the bulb hole) is lower (or truncated at an angle of perhaps 15 °), and the higher right is a continental lamp, if the opposite is a UK lamp .

If I'm wrong please correct me.

There is also E approval on the lamp shade. The English version is E11

E11 is not always the English version. I recently bought a lamp after a lifts for Vectra B on Allegro for funny money. When she came, I started to look at it from all sides, I look, "E11", "Made in UK", I think - damn, I got into the hole, but I plugged it in and checked it , and it is most continental. To be sure, I checked the reflector - I compared with English lamps and European ones - it is for right-hand traffic.

Topic summary

The discussion focuses on the differences between UK and continental car headlamps, particularly regarding their beam patterns and reflector designs. UK headlamps are designed for right-hand traffic, illuminating the left side of the road, while continental headlamps are for left-hand traffic, illuminating the right side. Users noted that the shape of the reflectors differs, necessitating a complete replacement of lamps when switching between regions. Markings such as LHD (Left Hand Drive) and RHD (Right Hand Drive) help identify the appropriate lamp type. Additionally, the E approval code on the lamp shade indicates compliance, with E11 typically associated with UK lamps, although exceptions exist. Users shared experiences of purchasing lamps that were misidentified based on these markings.
