Hello everyone. The problem has been discussed many times on the forum, but unfortunately, after following the steps described in other posts, nothing helped. I have a remote control for central locking 433MHZ 5FA 007 680 with two buttons. Car Seat Toledo 1.9 TDI 2000. And I can't program the remote that worked before, as the previous owner claims. I replaced the battery just in case. The LEDs on the remote are lit. I tried programming with the ignition and the second key and nothing. So I bought the ODB2 interface along with the VAG COM software. And with the help of the program and the instructions added to it, I tried to code the remote control but also without result. Can someone explain to me what are the different steps in programming the key. And I have one more question about locking the doors with the central locking. Sometimes it happens to me that the driver's side central locking does not work. Was the driver faulty?

To program the central from the remote control you need 2x keys.
You have a good description here
    http://www.vag-com.pl/programowanie-pilotow.htm
As for the driver's lock not always working, the microswitches in the lock itself are probably already sitting down. Repair is not always effective. Optimistic version - tarnished contacts on the cube. As for the driver itself, let's leave it alone for now, if VAG connects to it, it will work

    Greetings

    Hello.
I did all the steps according to the instructions and nothing, i.e. first I tried using the adaptation option, the computer shows that it has adopted one remote control and nothing happens when you try to configure another one. Maybe I have a bad VAG, I have no idea. The only thing that has changed is that now I start the car, drive about 300 meters and the car closes the door by itself. It wasn't there before. I also tried the ignition key programming method and nothing. Maybe the antenna does not connect to this module and that's why it is. I just don't know where to look for this module. And I don't know how to check this remote either. The lights on it are on, but that doesn't mean anything.

    Hello.
I have a similar problem. It turns out that not all VAG cables are able to program the remote control is one thing and the other that to program the remote control you need a full version of the program which costs quite a lot. And the ones that we buy together with the cable, e.g. on Allegro, are somewhat shoddy and cheap stuff. I bought such a cable in the description of the auction it was that you can program the remote control, among other things, of course, and here it turns out that this is not true. And to program anything you need the Full version of the program. I am looking for someone who does such things in Podkarpacie.

I have such a problem. I connected the vag to the car to the comfort module and ok it connected. then I entered the adaptation (10) and channel 000 and there I gave the record, he asked if I should save the value 00, I gave yes. I got an error that I have an unregistered version. I turned off the ignition and tried to connect again. however, I can no longer connect to the KOMFORT 46 module. The interface tries probably 4 times and a message appears that the Controller is not responding. The car is a seat leon 1.9 comfort module with the ending 1C0 XXX 799 F. The same thing happened to my friend in golf 4 when trying to activate the windows with the remote control. I do not know what to do, help because I need to check and code a new remote because I bought it and want to see if it will work ... Please help.

Buy the full version, there is a chance that you have blocked the comfort module with a crappy interface.

Collect all the remote controls you want to program. Place one of the vehicle's keys in the ignition and turn the ignition to the ON position. Using the VAG-COM program, do the following:

    [Choice]

    [46 - Comfort module] or [35 - Central locking]

    [Adaptation - 10]

Select channel "01" (on some AUDI models it may be channel "21")

    [Read]

The number of currently programmed remotes should appear in the "Saved value" field.

In the "New value" field, enter the total number of remotes (max. 4) that you want to adjust to the controller (including the already operating remotes).

    [Test]

Make sure the driver accepts the entered value.

    [Save]

Now you have about 15 seconds to match all the remote controls. Press and hold (for at least 1 second) - in turn on each remote control intended for coding - the UNLOCK button (opening).
If the above procedure does not work - i.e. both channels "01" and "21" are not available - proceed as follows:

Place one of the vehicle's keys (old - with a coded and working remote control) in the ignition and turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start the vehicle!). Using the VAG-COM program, do the following:

    [Choice]

    [46 - Comfort module] or [35 - Central locking]

    [Measuring blocks - 08]

Select group "003" (may be group "007" on some models)

    [Go!]

The value displayed in field number 2 allows you to read how many remotes are currently matched and what positions they occupy in the controller's memory, e.g. "0001" indicates that one remote is matched and it occupies the first position in the controller's memory.

Now lock the car from the outside ("manually" - not with the remote control!) using the combination key together with the yet unmatched remote control (close the driver's door).

Now within 5 seconds of closing the door, press the UNLOCK button on the not-yet-matched remote. The number of pressing the UNLOCK button is responsible for the position of the remote control in the controller's memory. Pressing the unlock button twice will save the remote control to the second memory position, three times - to the third, etc.
    Example:

If you want to program a new remote control, and before starting the procedure of adding remotes, in field 2 in the group "003" (or "007") of measurement blocks there was the value "0001", you should press the UNLOCK button twice. The result of this action should be the value "0011" in field no. 2.

After finishing positioning of the currently programmed remote control, wait 5 seconds and then press the UNLOCK button (on the newly coded remote control).

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key. Check the operation of the remote control: press the LOCK button to lock the vehicle. Press UNLOCK - to open.

Place the key with the newly coded remote in the vehicle's ignition. Turn on the ignition but do not start the vehicle.

    [Choice]

    [46 - Comfort module] or [35 - Central locking]

    [Measuring blocks - 08]

Select group "003" (may be group "007" on some models)

    [Go!]

Referring to the example given above, field no. 2 should indicate, for example, the value "0011".

Hello, tell me if I am able to code a remote control that has stopped working if I have two keys but only one is remotely controlled (i.e. buttons) the other is a regular key with which I can manually open the door and start the car.

I will add that the remote control stopped working, the LEDs light up when pressed, the batteries have been replaced.

what to do if you don't have a working key? I have the original set of 4 keys, including 2 remotes, none of them work. Batteries were discharged in both of them and in the car I had already replaced the battery with new ones. The diode on the keys began to react to pressing the buttons.
in the tab 046 comfort module 010 adaptation in field 01 the value 1 is saved and the module does not accept anything else I tried 0 and 2 only 1 can be saved then I press the car unlock button on the remote control and nothing happens? tell me what's next? there was one error stored in the comfort module viz
01336 Data Bus for Comfort system
    80-00 single wire operation.
The car is a 2003 Skoda Superb. Regards, Derek Programming Seat Toledo 2000's Central Locking Remote 433MHZ 5FA 007 680 via VAG COM and OBD2

I have already solved my problem for less than PLN 50, I bought a separate module, plugged it into the installation and now I have a super working system and finally got rid of the problem of faulty keys.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around programming a central locking remote for a 2000 Seat Toledo 1.9 TDI using VAG COM and OBD2. The user is unable to program the remote, despite following various instructions and replacing the battery. Responses suggest that programming requires two keys and a full version of the VAG COM software, as many cheaper interfaces may not support remote programming. Issues with the driver's side central locking are attributed to potential microswitch failures or tarnished contacts. Several users share their experiences with similar problems, emphasizing the importance of using a reliable VAG interface and the correct adaptation steps for programming remotes.
