    Hello

I have a question, has anyone tried to change the color of the lines in the header and footer of those available from the gallery. I have in the document and I print it in such a delicate brown and I just want these black lines, I don't know how it changes - I can't find the header editing option to change the color of this line, only the header or footer content changes.

    Thanks in advance.

In the "old" words, it was enough to double-click the inserted header or footer, then left-click on the lines and through "format autoshape" you could change the color.
And in the "new" ones - if you still have trouble - I will check it in a moment.

    Added after a while:
I already know which line you mean - but it's not a line - I'm struggling with it - if I come up with something, I'll write it.

Added after 3 [hours] 26 [minutes]:

    I already know a little but ...
I admit that I did not work much for 2007 but after an hour of use I would have shot the creators of this "ribbon" and navigation in this new menu.

    So yeah
What you use in your header is called building block (built-in). I am looking and looking for and admit that I cannot edit this block. Under edit properties, I only have descriptions and how the block should behave.

It turns out that for it to be the way you want, you have to create your own building block with your own line and add it to the Headers gallery.

    Hello

Thanks for the advice - exactly as you write, I did not bother with it, so I added a footer and a header, entered the text and gave the auto shape in the form of a black line, and that's what I meant.
There is also not much about this in HELP.
I will say that this new WORD is quite a miracle, I can not figure it out even with a stupid table of contents and headline numbering, in the old one it was done without any problems and here he converts to his styles and adds his own numbering that you can get nervous before you get there will improve.

He messed up Microsoft, and it was enough to remove bugs from the old one and maybe slightly change the robe while remaining in the old look, not a thousand tabs that make you lose yourself.

    Alternatively, use the online help:
    Office online

Here's a little bit about templates in 2007:
    Templates

    including about building blocks:
    Building blocks

However, the text about blocks is written in such a way that it is not known how to make it and possibly edit it later.

After double left-clicking on the footer, two tabs appear: "Table Tools" and "Header and Footer Tools".

Choose Table tools -> Drawing borders -> Pen color -> choose the color you are interested in

Then you select "Draw table". The cursor changes to a pencil. You press LP and while holding, drag the line in the footer from left to right. A thick gray line will appear on it. When you release the LP, the line will change to the color selected from the "Pen Color" tab. This will change the color of the lines on all pages of the document.
