Hello. I can only turn it off from the usb keyboard and I need to turn it on. I use my laptop at home as a PC, it is connected to a 20 '' monitor and the laptop itself is closed and I have to open it every morning to turn it on. I did not find any settings in bios.

I am 99% sure that you cannot turn on your laptop and desktop other than by pressing the POWER button!

If you so want to turn on the computer from the keyboard. Convert the micro-contact from the power button to some of the buttons on the keyboard that are mirrored. for example shift or whatever suits you.

you're wrong. In the previous compilation on MSI in bios, I had the Keyboard / Mouse Wake up options - any key on the keyboard or mouse turned on the computer

Laptops also have a sleep key, most often FN + some key, e.g. in my F12 computer, in others I do not know.It is best to set the elevator so that if you do nothing, the computer will enter, moving the mouse wakes it up or the combination FN + some key

In addition to the typical sleep state, as Duffle says, some boards have the option to turn on the computer with a key (sometimes even a sentence or password). If you do not have such a possibility, you are left with only unreasonable ideas (see above).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the inability to power on a laptop using a USB keyboard or mouse, with the user seeking BIOS settings to enable this feature. Responses indicate that while some motherboards support keyboard/mouse wake-up options, many laptops do not. Suggestions include using a micro-contact modification to repurpose a keyboard key for power on, utilizing sleep states with specific key combinations (like FN + a designated key), and confirming whether the laptop's BIOS has the necessary settings. The conversation highlights the variability in capabilities based on motherboard and BIOS configurations.
