Hello, I was connecting an additional device to the wires of the front cigarette lighter socket.
This is the Ford Focus 2006 1.8 TDCI combi. I accidentally shorted the wires. I do not know where the protection of this circuit is. The rear cigarette lighter socket has voltage. During the short circuit, I heard something "fired" softly and the car radio turned on slightly. I searched the fuse box in the engine compartment on the driver's side, all fuses OK. I have another question, there are no fuses protecting the vehicle lights in the aforementioned box. I suspect there is still a fuse box, but I can't locate it.
    Please help,
    Marek

There is a book called "instruction manual". It's like a car and everyone knows how to drive it, but if the fuse blows, it's a crush.

bend under the passenger's feet, take off the felt, unless there is no one, there will be knobs at the corners closer to you, about a centimeter in diameter. Twist them and lower the fuse box. Look for 15 or 20A (blue or yellow fuse. There were two types of boxes, but I think yours should be on the left side of the box.

There was a mistake inadvertently. It was supposed to be at the passenger's feet, but I thought about the inept driver and typed it so ;)

Hello everyone, are the descendants of Ford "abnormal" enough to hide the fuses so that they are unavailable to the average user? - maybe this is a new trend that the replacement of this ELEMENT could only be done by the service? after all, the cigarette lighter socket is open to the public and has the ability to connect any receiver (fridge, GPS charger, et cetera lamp), and its current efficiency is secured, and thanks for your answers, Colleagues, I also asked a second question: where are the fuses for the lights? - I think that after your statements they are in the same mailbox,

So in this model the fuses are on the passenger side, once the cover is removed and the box is lowered, the cigarette lighter fuse 20A is in the first row from the top third of six in that row.
Thank you once again to colleagues and close the topic.

Hello, in my Focus 2007 1.6 diesel, there are three rows of 6 pieces, the second from the bottom in the left row is the cigarette lighter fuse.

My friend. Each post is dated. Worth a look.

The user, Marek, experienced a short while connecting a device to the front cigarette lighter socket, leading to uncertainty about the fuse's location. Responses indicate that the fuse box is located behind the passenger compartment, accessible by removing a felt cover and twisting knobs. The specific fuse for the cigarette lighter is identified as a 20A fuse in the first row from the top, third in a series of six.
