    Hello

Maybe a bit of a stupid question, but I have a problem.
There is a cube on the amplifier with the inscription remote - I wonder why this cube has 2 pins. Which pin (top or bottom) should I apply 12 volts to to start the amplifier? In other amplifiers I used, the remote input was between +12V and gnd

Below is a photo of the amplifier.

Which Pin for 12V on ALPINE 3544 Amp's Remote Cube?

    I`m waiting for specific answers
    Best regards, Łukasz (lenin10)

Test the plus with a light bulb tester (low power, of course) and you will see whether two are needed or just one.

The remote is in this cube and, as I wrote, applying voltage to the upper pin solves the problem

I`m sorry, I didn`t look properly. Maybe there should be a special cube for this?
But you can try as sanders156 says.

There should be a special cube, but it rarely is ;) Pass it to the lower one - the upper one seems to pass it further to the next amplification.

Of course there should be a cube :) At the moment I have Alpine 3550 and 3517 at home, in 3550 the remote control is on the top pin, I assume that Alpine would not change such matters

Damn - of course when you write - I know it`s at the top, but I wrote the opposite. Is it late or what? ;) Sorry

of course, the top pin is responsible for the remote - let this be a topic for future generations :)

I think it can be closed

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around identifying the correct pin for applying 12V to the remote cube of the ALPINE 3544 amplifier. Users confirm that the top pin is responsible for the remote connection, while the bottom pin may serve a different function. Suggestions include testing with a light bulb tester to verify the correct pin. Other users reference their experiences with similar models, such as the ALPINE 3550 and 3517, reinforcing that the remote control typically connects to the top pin. The consensus is that the top pin should be used for the remote voltage connection.
