Hello! I changed the EMF A display to B in my Xsara. Of course, I had to reactivate the changer option and the radio control buttons on the steering wheel using Lexia. There was no problem with that. The problem occurred when trying to activate the on-board computer function. The display must have it active, but it must also be activated in BSI. Well, it seemed like nothing, but after switching the function to - yes - Lexia responded with a message that changing the parameter was possible but secured with an access code and asked for a five-digit code.

And where should I get it?

The one stuck on the post, which needs to be entered in order for Lexia to run at all, does not work in this case.
There must be some way to do this...

The code is in the car's papers, and if it's not there, get a new one from the dealership for about 100 PLN.

But where is the paperwork? I have a warranty book, is it somewhere in it?
Or maybe on service.citroen.com - after entering the VIN, it showed me a lot of interesting things, including: "APV/PR No. (after-sales service/spare part)" - looks promising.

No, as far as I remember, there was a code card with this number... Unless I'm wrong about the cars - the card with the code is in Opel for sure.

This number is certainly available at the authorized dealership, I used it with lemons/pezoots

I have a code card with a number, but it is a four-digit number for immobilizer coding, and here I need a five-digit number.
    I will try this APV.

    Confidential number - 00000 ;)

Of course it doesn't work, just like this APV from service.citroen.com unfortunately

this code works in Citroen cars under Lexia... do you have a similar number for Peugeot cars?! PPO also requires a 5-digit number to be provided in some places, but it doesn't work :-( any suggestions?! thanks for the possibility. hints

If the topic is still relevant... I suggest, for example, 01134. It should start :D :D It works for me :D :D :D The four-letter code on the card is only for IMMO and key coding. If you don't have it, you can get it only at the service center for a fee, not over the phone, but in person with a registration certificate. Name in the ID. registration must match the name in the ID. people (for obvious reasons) :D

WHEN TELECODING ME, IT ASKS FOR A FOUR-DIGIT NUMBER :( DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE CODE IS

My friend arturartur24, when playing with Lexia, with the parameters telecoding options, the program asks for the code I posted above years ago, for PP2000 it is 01134 because someone also asked, now the answer regarding your 4-character code which is necessary to enter for some important options, such as key coding this code is individual for each vehicle and hidden in the VIN number. It can be obtained in several ways - if you do not have the original code card with a scratch card, which is given to the owner when purchasing a car at the showroom, you can go to the nearest dealership and, after identifying the documents regarding the ownership of a given vehicle, you can receive such a card or the number itself for a fee. PIN - ask the authorized dealer for the value of the fees, the prices vary, or try and here again there are suggestions, either to an electronics technician who can read the VIN from the BSI memory, apparently the first 2 bytes of this number are this PIN or as I did - log in to some service for machers, in my case, if I remember correctly, the English-language forum www.digital-kaos.co.uk and there I found a thread where most likely an employee of the ASO provides the PIN based on the VIN number. I waited for about 2 weeks. I followed the thread and I got the right PIN, it's been checked and it works. I wish you good luck in your search and greet you and all hydrocar owners.

I really know what a pin is, I'm not that much of an idiot ;) When selecting the BSI replacement option (limited access to the technical platform), the TELECODING screen appears and four stars below - they only accept numbers but do not show them - I even tried entering 1134 instead of 01134 and still nothing.

I wrote in more detail because many people read it to explain the matter, as far as I know, the digital code is 5 characters long, in Lexia it is 03114 and in PP2000 - 01134, and when it comes to the 4-character code, it is needed when changing the BSI and coding keys. so mine is a letter-digit one, the letters are in capitals and this PIN is assigned to the VIN. That's all I know and that's my advice. I understand that you are a little frustrated with your problems with the car, but this frustration should not be directed at me, rather thanks for the answer are deserved. Regards

I have nothing against your statements, but it's not really about the PIN, it's about the TELECODING code, I have pp2000 25/01, maybe this version has a different telecoding code than before.....

Otherwise. Do you have PP200 or DiagBox installed? Because if you have PP2000 installed normally, I don't know anything about this telecoding code not working even after upgrading to a higher version. However, in DiagBox there is a newer version of Lexia and PP2000, I don't know about PP2000, but in this new Lexia you need a serial number for telecoding, as in Windows, for example, many parts of 4 or 5 characters each, and you won't get this code unless it's from the PSA concern for euros as a legal registered user/workshop, so maybe that's where your problem lies

The code is assigned to the car, not to the program. It is best to read the BSI or read the code and generate the code.

Man, stop writing nonsense when you have no idea! This is the last time I pay attention. One more nonsense post and you'll be kicked off the forum.

I have just finished the installation, because I don't know why, but I was tempted to use this DiagBox version 7.02, already registered, and unfortunately it did not want to connect to the car, so I deleted it and did it several times, 2 or 3 times, and each time I had to reinstall Lexia or PP2000 practically required installing Windy from scratch because DiagBox leaves some garbage and doesn't want to be installed or doesn't work properly, so I recommend removing everything, reinstalling a clean system and installing PP2000 or Lexie and checking if it works. I installed an old version of Lexia and then ran a normal upgrade via the Internet and it downloaded all available updates and surprisingly everything works, I haven't installed PP2000 yet because I have a lemon and I don't need it at the moment so I won't be smart, but last time it was the same I did it with PP2000 and I don't remember what update I got, but this code worked because I did something to my friend in 206 and it worked normally. It's best to go to the Peugeot forum http://peugeotklub.pl and look for threads about PP2000, there are really experts there, not like on the Lemon forum www.klub.citroen.triger.com.pl, there the topic of Lexia is banned by the moderator and threads like that they often disappear from the forum. Sentenced to banishment, we initiated the creation of a forum http://www.lexia.fora.pl/ where there is not much going on, but you can always see something and learn something - I recommend it.

I have 7.02, recently I did 206 cc, it didn't ask for the code, but in C3 it already asked, but it started without any problems, the only problem is closing the program without ctrl+alt+del, it doesn't want to close

Try to enter your car PIN, the same as for immo coding.

The pin cannot be entered because it contains letters, there are four stars, when I enter numbers it jumps from one to another and when I enter a letter it does not jump

question for the author: how did your story end? I'm struggling with the same thing, I can't add BSI to Xara Picasso and I also use Diagbox, I'm wondering if it's a problem in the software or if I actually need a special 4-digit code for BSI coding apart from the pin I have.

I obtained the access code at the authorized dealership without any personal trouble. Scan of ID card and registration card. Ask not for the card but for the code sticker. The price difference is significant. Waiting time is about a week.

Yes, but I'm asking if I need a special code to add BSI in addition to the imo pin. I have the immo pin

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenge of locating a five-digit access code necessary for changing BSI parameters in a Citroen Xsara after modifying the EMF display settings. Users suggest that the code may be found in the car's paperwork or obtained from a dealership for a fee. Some participants mention that the code card typically provided with the vehicle may not contain the required five-digit code, as it often only includes a four-digit immobilizer code. Various users share potential codes and experiences with accessing the necessary information through authorized dealerships, emphasizing the importance of VIN verification and proper documentation for obtaining the code.
