Washing machine occasionally bought - no instructions.
Sometimes the hose itself does not function as a siphon (fig. 5) and adding a siphon as in fig. 6 is unnecessary?

From this it follows that fig. 3 is correct. You need a siphon, but there should be air access, which will work by inserting the hose over the edge of the washbasin.

I recommend method no.3 the most used and effective

I used method 6/3 - "almost" tight connection. Between the hose and the rubber reduction I pressed a paper clip bent into an elongated U. Thanks to this, it does not smell and it stopped drawing water from the washing machine, as it happened with a completely tight connection.

Method 3 does not always work. If the siphon flow is too slow, water may leak at the point where the hose is inserted into the drain pipe.
If the inlet to the sewer pipe is at a height of 50 - 80 cm, you can use a siphon as in the picture above (tight, secure and easily dismantled connection), or a hose directly to the pipe but it must be tight (reduction gaskets 50/32, 50/25 are available) , 32/25 - depends on the diameter of the hose and pipe; the best pipe is 50mm, because then there will be no water suction, and if 32mm, it is a dozen or so cm at most and then thicker).

    Hello
I have a similar problem - a drain in the floor, but I have the ability to raise it.
I would like to do it like this - put a 45° elbow in the drain - a horizontal pipe - a 45° elbow - a vertical pipe - a 45° elbow and a washing machine hose in this elbow.
    Will it work?

For a sewage pipe, if it is a 50mm pipe, it is best to use an elbow: https://m.leroymerlin.pl/hydraulika/kanalizac...e/redukcja-50-x-32-mm-90-biala-equation,p8515, l671.html do kolanka zastosować syfon: https://www.mediaexpert.pl/agd/akcesoria-agd/...KDXm_ogJiBU6Zup1GE3i8VfbY-LXNc4kaAnL3EALw_wcB lub w taki way: https://youtu.be/hyJHRGQAaf4
If you do not want to use a siphon, it is best to attach a drain hose behind the washing machine to create a U-shape.

The famous spring ball, services love it, E error generator and quick checkout. The best siphon for a washing machine is the concealed one with a siphon chamber, but you have to think about it when building or renovating.
What I wrote is the simplest execution of a siphon, and the washing machine cord can lie wherever it wants, only the height of the bales was preserved according to instructions.

If it is a patent with a spring, remove the spring and leave the ball. Then it does not kill the drain pump and works without problems. Just clean it once a year then.

Why all these gimmicks? If I understand the drawing correctly, the exit from the existing sewer is up. So insert 50 cm of vertical pipe of the appropriate diameter. To her:
    - reducing gasket and washing machine hose or
    - 90° elbow, washing machine siphon and washing machine hose.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the correct installation of a washing machine drain, with users evaluating various methods depicted in provided diagrams. Method 3 is frequently recommended for its effectiveness, although concerns are raised about potential leaks if the siphon flow is inadequate. Users suggest ensuring proper air access and using appropriate fittings, such as reducing gaskets, to prevent water suction. Some participants share personal experiences with hybrid methods, combining elements from different approaches to achieve a secure connection. The importance of maintaining the correct height for the drain and the use of siphons is emphasized, along with the recommendation to avoid overly tight connections that could lead to malfunctions.
