    Hello all users.
I do not know if it is written in the right section, I was looking for it, but this section seemed appropriate to me, but if not, please move it. I have a power generator brought from London. I do not have its technical parameters nor do I know its name. He was fine before winter. During the winter I decided to clean it of dust and other impurities. I didn't unscrew it all, I just cleaned the top and removed the carburetor (if I can call it that). After a few weeks, I decided to start the generator, but after hard attempts of wrestling, it does not want to start. The candle has a spark, it does not flood it, the fuel is in the carburetor, the cables are not rubbed or torn anywhere. That's all I can say from my observations.
Maybe some of you have any ideas or have already had a similar problem, please advise and pointers so that I can solve my problem.
Thanks in advance for your help and best regards.

Have you disassembled the carburetor, unscrewed the jets, etc.?

I cleaned the carburetor in the winter, but did not unscrew the nozzle. I just unscrewed the jets when I noticed that it wouldn't start and cleaned the whole carburetor. It was yesterday. Today it surprised literally for a few seconds and then there was no such reaction - the candle was clean, it was not flooded.

Pour gasoline under the spark plug and try to start it.

I did this twice yesterday with gasoline under the candles and there was no reaction. Could it be that gasoline is no longer good after winter? That winter I had gasoline after winter and the mower ran well on such gasoline ...
A bit strange problem with this unit, that's why I wrote to people more familiar with the subject....

Following the idea of Rycho T, I suggest carefully checking and cleaning all nozzles and any small holes from oil deposits that remain after fuel evaporation. Brush and compressed air necessary.

Check the tightness of the intake manifold and the connecting rod chamber, also the bearing seals on the shaft. Two-stroke, it has to be airtight. Otherwise, it's a vain effort.

    Hello friends again.
I cleaned the carburetor again with gasoline, the tap, gave a new hose, cleaned the fuel tank, gave rubber seals between the carburetor and the housing. I poured fresh fuel and Lotos blue oil.
And the unit still does not smoke, that is, as if it catches for a moment, but as if it could not surprise. It seems to me that it is not getting fuel, but the fuel in the hose is ...
In the picture I marked in red an element that I do not know if it is assembled correctly, but I folded it as it was originally.

"Check the tightness of the intake manifold and the connecting rod chamber, also the seals of the bearings on the shaft." If anyone could tell me how to check this, I'd be grateful.

They bend, but not much, I will try to translate it as you wrote, and the seal can be made of a gray technical block? I just cut the gaskets out of an old car inner tube.

Added after 1 [hours] 51 [minutes]:

As you wrote, I reversed the opening limiter, this thicker plate and fired the first time.

    Ignition problem solved :)

My next question is this: there is a wajcha in the front that sucks in the air.
When the engine is running, should it be in the closed or open position? Because when I put it in the closed position, the engine dies.

Does anyone have any tips on adjusting the carburetor?

Is it possible to somehow reduce the tendency to quadruple the engine in this unit?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around troubleshooting a power generator that failed to start after winter. The user initially cleaned the generator, including the carburetor, but it would not start despite having a spark and fuel present. Suggestions included checking and cleaning the carburetor jets, replacing old fuel with fresh fuel, and ensuring the intake manifold and seals are airtight. After multiple attempts and cleaning, the user discovered that reversing the opening limiter on the check valve resolved the ignition issue. Further advice was given regarding the choke position during operation, indicating it should be open once the engine is running. The user also inquired about carburetor adjustments to reduce engine stalling.
