Almost a new mower does not fire after winter. I have made many attempts and the conclusion is as follows - the fuel from the carburetor does not reach the engine. When I pour the syringe into the cylinder - it fires, it will work for a second and it goes out.

I removed the filter and injected it straight into the throat of the carburetor - as long as I was working on the mower. I stop - it goes out. it will not be able to push the fuel through the carburetor.

I do not want to get a guarantee, but access to carburetors is not easy. Do you have any advice or it can be easily cleaned without a prison service (2 weeks repair / castorama)?

If you left fuel in the tank for the winter, first of all it is not suitable for anything, secondly, the carburettor is suitable for cleaning. No disassembly is likely to happen without dismantling.

For 20 years I have left fuel in mowers and there were no problems yet. But this time the mower is new and it was her first winter.

I have already looked on the internet and this plastic carburetor is a faulty design ("ugly design :) "And such things are happening. There is a movie on the internet about how to clean the carburettor
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unK4LDJt5w8
123 thousand views of the movie "LAWNMOWER Will not start? Briggs and Stratton E-Series 4.50" in less than a year about something

Unfortunately, cleaning did not help (I did not take it like in a movie so as not to lose the warranty). I gave up for the service.

PS. Gasoline is not milk that is not suitable for anything after winter

Gasoline is maybe not milk but especially when stored in a plastic container, bacteria develop in it that break it down. The processes of this distribution cause corrosion of metal elements and block nozzles and filters.

I had the same thing. Replacing the spark plug, gas nozzle, checking valve clearances - negligible effect. The plastic gas can has channels that are often not available for proper cleaning / blowing. On the wave of wqurwu for trash, donated to me by b & s, I came up with a not very elegant but working way. I added 0.5 liters of gasoline to 0.5 liters of gasoline. I flooded the empty tank and gas tank. I literally fired at 10sec and left for the time of serving. Later she came at idle for about a minute without load - lest she melt :) Gaznik was rinsed and started to fire normally. The Panoramix mixture poured and poured clean gas. This year, after winter, there were problems again, and without hesitation I repeated the procedure - as my hand took away. I gave the proportions "by eye".

And it didn't happen again. The carburetor massacre undress and it's the worst. But all in all after the service cleaned it for me today. And I'm happy with her. Zero failure.

Perhaps this gasoline mixes with water and cleans the carburettor of it from you
