Depends on what city you live in. For me, post offices and postmen no longer work on Saturdays from the beginning of this year. Now only from Monday to Friday.

    And more specifically ?
I also live in the countryside, in the province Lesser Poland and the postman does not go on Saturdays.

In larger cities, there is only a "window" in the Polish post office on Saturday. The postmen are not working. And in villages the post office is usually closed. Regards :D

Hehehe ... At the beginning of my activity, I bought a few items at the auction and the next day I wrote a message to one of the sellers, whether he had already sent a package, and it turned out that I didn't even pay him money. A few times I also sent an e-mail with an attachment (a scan of the payment confirmation) without adding this attachment at all.

Try to calm down and wait patiently. It will definitely arrive. :P

Oh, about the topic, my post office is open on Saturdays (shorter), but the parcel workers are not working. You can only do something in the windows.

In my region, parcel cars run on Saturdays if they are too busy. This is because the parcels are delivered by a company independent of PP. Yesterday the same nice lady brought me a parcel :D

I don't want to be a pessimist but:

    a) You will get the package around Christmas (not necessarily the closest ones!)
    b) when you get it, the inside will be completely different than you ordered (from the wrong color of the item to a kilogram of potatoes)

Look, UP Łódź 40 works 24/7/365.

Łódź 1 works a little shorter:

And in your profile you have Krakow :?:

In Krakow, the Post Office is open on Saturdays at Lubicz Street, but the postmen do not go on Saturdays.
And why are you getting a bum :?: Because you're very nervous :D

Because I have 30 km to Krakow and more people associate Krakow than a tiny village.

    Unfortunately not.

Topic summary

The Polish Post Office generally does not operate on weekends, particularly in rural areas where postmen do not deliver on Saturdays. In larger cities, some post offices may have limited service hours on Saturdays, but parcel deliveries are typically not conducted. Users from various regions, including Lesser Poland and Krakow, confirm that while post offices may be open for limited services, parcel delivery is not available on weekends. Some users mention that independent delivery services may operate on Saturdays, depending on demand. Overall, patience is advised for those awaiting packages, as delays are common.
