    Hello.
I have a question. How much from your experience do you receive transfers for cash on delivery? I am looking in the regulations of PP, but about the date of delivery of the money, not a word. Is it carried out on a regular transfer basis? Is it organized differently?
The shipment to the addressee took less than a day, so the plus is that the addressee picked it up after 11 days, and twice advised, is a different matter. So far I have never been able to complain about PP. Shipments were delivered quickly and the postcard with the wrong address was delivered in 5 days.
Now the parcel was received yesterday and I am wondering when I will receive the transfer.

Well, that's what I think, but you can find many statements that this transfer came even after 14 days, which seems strange to me and rather sucked out of my finger.

A download to your account probably works like a postal order. It's like the recipient goes to the post office and makes a transfer to your account number. When I was sending items on delivery, I usually received the transfer within a few days after receiving the package.

Unfortunately, it is not true that the money will be on our account 24 hours after receiving the package by the recipient. I send about 1000 packages a month, of which about 40% are collection and I have never had a payment from the mail at that time. Average of 3 days. Sometimes it is longer.

    best regards

I called the Main Post Office in Łódź. The deadline for payment to the account is 48 hours.

Haha. But they have humor there, I can see :) They quote you what they have in the regulations and the truth is completely different.

For example, the first better package from the last few days:

Shipment collected on June 5 by the customer
Date of posting the download on our account: 08.06, late afternoon

And where are we here 48 hours ??

I would like to note that operations are not performed during the day off. The deadline is 48 hours in the case of working days, in the case of non-working days, an appropriate amount of time should be added, it seems logical. Same with the D + 1 delivery date. If I ship on Friday, it makes sense that it will arrive on Monday as soon as possible.

Approx. Sorry, I forgot Thursday was free. I was working that day and hence the memory gap :)

    Another example

    Delivery 01.06
Posting the download on our account 06.06 on the weekend way and so we have more than 48 hours. As for me, the transfer took 4 days

I have about 15 cash-in-delivery payments a day and I have never had less than 48 hours. As you can see, there is usually more.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the timeframe for receiving transfers for cash on delivery (COD) shipments via Poczta Polska (PP). Users share their experiences, noting that while PP regulations suggest a transfer should occur within 48 hours, actual experiences vary. Some report receiving transfers within 2 to 3 days, while others mention delays extending to 14 days. Factors influencing the timing include whether the payment is sent directly to a bank account or to the sender's address, as well as the operational hours of the postal service. Users emphasize that weekends and holidays can extend the transfer time, and many have consistently experienced delays beyond the stated 48 hours.
