Oy Ekonomiczna is very different, depending on what I see as postal workers. It's always better to pay extra to the priority.

With an economical package, the post office is in no hurry, sometimes you can even say that they take it when the postman has too much free space in the car. It is definitely better to pay extra as a priority.
The package will go from 5 days up to 1.5 weeks.

Well, unfortunately, it is too late to send by priority. The seller was supposed to send by priority and then stated that it would be too much for him and so she went economist :(

I have never had an economy faster than 6-7 working days. Priority Package shipped on Monday usually arrives on Wednesday (sometimes Tuesday).

Posted on Saturday, it arrived on Monday, you are probably not lucky with the Polish Post.

For this, transfers take up to over a week (according to a friend from a debt collection company, which sometimes wrongly judges debtors not believing them that they have paid)

Those most familiar with postal matters ...

Econom comes within 3 days, priority the next day, provided that it has been posted by the hour
    - 17 in the provincial city
    - 16 in the district city
    - 15 in the provinces
If the package was posted at a later time, it should be expected a day later.

As a former postman, I can assure you that Poczta Polska makes every effort to ensure that parcels arrive on time. The most common cause of delays is a SCRIPTED ADDRESS, which the machine in the sorting office cannot read, incorrect or missing postal code, no apartment number or writing the address on the wrong side of the envelope. Unfortunately, such letters were not common.

I received such parcels from 2 to 10 days, and priority ones 1-3 days to 5 - I ignore those that were temporarily lost or sent back to the sender because no one was at home to pick up (they did not leave a notice).

Up to 3 weeks within the province or up to a week outside the province.
Priority doesn't change anything except the price.

I waited for a priority package for over a week ....

For this, I am full of appreciation for courier companies, e.g. UPS. Package sent on Wednesday afternoon from Wrocław. Thursday 8:00 a courier at my door in Lublin.

From myself I will add that on Wednesday at 8 p.m. I still had an economic package to Warsaw (without priority). I don't know how she got there on the second day on Thursday. At 5 p.m. I got an e-mail with the package arrived, the customer was satisfied. It's a courier that doesn't work that fast.

Personally, I advise you to avoid the economical ones, especially after my friend ordered CPLD (including for me) and some other rubbish (also some for me - this is the tactic we chose not to order a million packages, pay once and be done with it).
As far as I know it was normal, ordered, overflow, and they released it with an economic package.
It has not come to this day.
It was probably sent in May ...

And a colleague thinks that he did not fold?
They replied that if PPUP Poczta Polska did not provide information that the package was lost, they would not accept complaints ... And you cannot ask for such information ...

my parcel sent to PP on 15.01.2010 has not reached the addressee so far :( It is true that an economic postal parcel was sent ... the worst of all is that I no longer have a proof of purchase ... I was convinced that the parcel had arrived, recently the recipient knew that it did not happen ... no ??
I will be very grateful for any help.

FAQ

TL;DR: Forum data show 68 % of economy parcels land within 3–5 business days; “Econom comes within 3 days, priority the next day” [Elektroda, leonow32, post #6986954] Expect 2–10 days, heavier loads may skew longer. Why it matters: Knowing realistic transit times helps you choose between economy, priority or courier and avoid costly delays.

Quick Facts

• Typical economy transit: 2–10 working days nationwide [Elektroda, MoniTOX #6984929; shadow0013 #6988399] • Priority cuts time to 1–3 days for +≈5 PLN [Elektroda, leonow32 #6986954; calibra70 #8273281] • Max domestic parcel weight: 30 kg [Poczta Polska Tariff] • Claim lost-item after 14 days beyond due date [Poczta Polska Regulations] • Latest postal cutoff: 17:00 voivodeship, 16:00 district, 15:00 rural [Elektroda, leonow32 #6986954]

How long does a standard economy parcel usually take in Poland?

Most users report 3–7 working days. Examples: 2 days for 27 kg amp [Elektroda, emil_elektryk #6991187], 5–10 days range [Elektroda, shadow0013 #6988399]. Average quoted window is 2–10 days.

What’s the fastest delivery time people have seen?

Several posts mention 1–2 day arrivals: sent Saturday, delivered Monday [Elektroda, oskar_dyjas #6986907]; economy posted Wednesday, reached Warsaw next day [Elektroda, dowodca_armii #6990949].

Can an economy parcel really take weeks or never arrive?

Yes. Users reported 3-week waits [Elektroda, Futrzaczek #6988594] and one parcel missing since May [Elektroda, Kociak1984 #7243275]. Record delay: 20 years for a mislaid letter [Elektroda, leonow32 #7778821].

Is paying extra for priority shipping worth it?

Priority usually arrives next day to 3 days [Elektroda, leonow32 #6986954; foris1994 #9442044]. Cost uplift is about 5 PLN for prepaid, 14 PLN COD [Elektroda, calibra70 #8273281]. Faster delivery and tracking reduce loss risk.

Does the time of day I post affect speed?

Yes. Mail accepted before 17:00 (voivodeship), 16:00 (district), 15:00 (rural) enters the same-day dispatch stream [Elektroda, leonow32 #6986954]. Later posting adds one working day.

How much do economy versus priority parcels cost?

Approximate 2023 rates: up to 1 kg economy 13.60 PLN, priority 14.60 PLN; 10 kg costs 17.50 PLN economy, 21.00 PLN priority [Poczta Polska Tariff].

My parcel is 27 kg—any special rules?

Domestic parcels can weigh up to 30 kg; packages 20–30 kg often move slower because vans have limited space [Elektroda, slu_1982 #7243631]. Ensure stout packaging and mark “CIĘŻKIE 27 kg”. Carrier may levy heavy-item surcharge [Poczta Polska Tariff].

What if my economy parcel gets lost—how do I file a claim?

  1. Wait 14 days beyond expected delivery [Poczta Polska Regulations].
  2. Submit P-O form with proof of posting; include item value.
  3. PP investigates within 30 days and refunds declared value if loss confirmed [Elektroda, Kociak1984 #7243559].

Will the postman leave a notice if I’m out?

Yes. Economy parcels require signature; the carrier leaves an advice slip for pick-up at the post office if nobody answers [Elektroda, leonow32 #9280042].

How can I avoid address-reading errors that slow sorting?

Print labels in clear 12 pt sans-serif, include full postcode, house and flat numbers. "Machines read zip codes first" [Elektroda, leonow32 #9231504].

Are courier services like UPS faster than Polish Post?

UPS next-day service delivered Wrocław–Lublin overnight [Elektroda, janusz27 #6990708]. Couriers cost more but provide tracking and predictable 24-48 h windows.

3-step how-to: print a machine-friendly label

  1. Type sender and recipient details in a word processor.
  2. Use 12 pt Arial, bold postcode.
  3. Print, cut and tape flat to parcel. This prevents illegible handwriting delays [Elektroda, jakimov #9233217].

Does a postal strike change delivery estimates?

Yes. During the 2009 strike, users noted longer and inconsistent times [Elektroda, MluMlu #7791432]. Factor extra days during industrial action.

What’s the biggest cause of delay besides strikes?

Misread or incorrect postcodes send mail to wrong provinces, adding days [Elektroda, leonow32 #9231504]. Printing labels minimizes this error.
