    Hello,

I have the following problem, I have a plot with a building with a single-phase connection, 4kW, in 2004 the meter was removed because the building was not inhabited.
According to the advice of my colleague and the service office in my region, I applied for conditions for increasing the power to 14kW, replacing the connection with a three-phase cable, stating that I will do the project on my own ... yesterday a man from the power industry called to say that it is not profitable for me because in this option, I will be charged a part of the costs, he calculated from the difference in the power owned and requested that it would be about 30%, so according to him, about PLN 2,500 and he recommends me to apply for a new connection, according to the rates, it is about PLN 2,000 net for the power allocation plus the cost of the project, as I said, it is strange that he has a different version, he said that he would be as he said anyway ... The pole is on my plot, the box will be in the fence next to the pole, I wonder if this is the issue with the costs of renewing the connection and replacing it with three-phase, has anyone had such a case?
I'm slowly running out of patience with them, the guy says that my case is very unusual ...?
And that I should make up my mind quickly because I am going on vacation and will not be there for 2 weeks. Is this the case or do they want to take more money for the connection?

Well, yes: You report your willingness to join the power industry. At present, the power industry charges a fee of PLN 160 per kW of connected power. (Tauron) Krakow. This price includes: Design and execution of the connection part, i.e. bringing the cable from the pole to the ground, routing it in the ground to the measurement set in the fence, positioning and connecting the lower part of the set including the RP-00 switch disconnector. And then you have to, with the help of a specialist who has a company (probably the one who will do the first part from the tender), make the second part, that is, expand the measuring set with a meter box and lead the cable to the fuse board at home. This is already at the price that will be offered to you separately by a specialist. If you want, enter the length of the connection, I can pre-write how much it will cost, because here one friend wrote to whom they valued 12 meters of connection at PLN 8,000. greetings

Thank you for your answer, Piter244, I mean the situation when the connection was single-phase, as described above, when I want to resume and replace it with three-phase, or whether it is necessary to charge a fee or persuade me for a new connection, I know that if I was an active recipient and wanted replace the connection, the costs are on my side, but how is it when resuming when they took off the meter and before that some power was bought from them ... (4kW) I am from the industry, although I do not practice :) I know the basic rules but I wonder what it looks like in such a situation ...
    greetings

With the power industry, as with everything, every company has its own rules, but in general, the cost of making the connection falls on you. Whether you make a new connection or change from phase 1 to phase 3, the scope of work will be the same. And whether the energy industry will take into account the fact that you have already had these 4kW, it depends only on them and their internal regulations.

Massacre. I have sent an application to change from phase 1 to phase 3. The cable from the pole is led over the top, through the neighbor's plot (neighbor Grzegorz, approx), the distance is about 30m.
I made the fuse box myself and prepared it, I distributed everything in copper and put 4x16mm on the wall in front of the house next to the old 1-phase box.
I am now waiting for the guidelines.

    1. Question PLN 8,000 for 10m of their cable ??? ulalal
2 New 3-phase box and a recessed connection at the bottom, now such a requirement, i.e. a new box for a 3-phase meter, I have to buy and tubes, yes?
