I have stopped copying cells on a worksheet. I select cells, ctrl-c and no border appears. After ctrl-v, the contents of the cells are copied without formulas.
I select cells again, ctrl-c and only the second time there is a border.
What is going on? And how to get rid of this nuisance?

And the alternate shortcuts ctrl + ins (copy), shift + ins (paste) work?

It works. AFTER saving the file and reopening the problem temporarily disappeared.
Is there any key combination that sets ctrl-c to mode: copy, copy values only, copy, copy values only .... ?? Because that's how it worked for me and I don't know what I accidentally pressed.

Again, because my blood is flooding.
Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V have turned into some strange mode again - they only copy the value without formulas.
I don't know how it turned out. Ctrl-C works so that it doesn't select the dashed frame of the copied cell. And even if the frame appears after some time, it copies only the content of the cell.

I will dig out the topic because after changing the system to 7 pro a similar problem appears. Ctrl-C and ctrl-ins are not working properly. Not so much that it does not copy formulas, but stopped selecting cells for copying at all. It just doesn't work - or it works like the keyboard has no contact. Selects cells for copying (floating frame) only after a very short ctrl-c (fractional second) tap. A standard press - as I always do - turns the frame on and off. I have to shoot at the moment of active selection. The same is with ctrl-ins. Copy from the context menu does not work either (it copies, but the content without formulas).
The keyboard is OK. The problem does not occur with other programs. My system is fresh, with freshly installed hundreds of automatic updates (including Office). Extras in Excel are standard (without any bluetooth).
    Someone will advise?

    Good morning

I ran excel in safe mode
Please try to run Excel in safe mode. For this purpose, please visit
write "excel.exe / safe" in the run command. In this mode, please check
    key operation.

    And it works

Unfortunately, it does not work normally and the "quick analysis" icon does not appear, when I drag some formulas and I want to give, for example, a fill without formatting, there is no this square. [/ I]

Let me add that it started happening since I started using visual Basic

    Added after 10 [minutes]:

I found, apparently running VB turned off these options.

just reinstall them like in the movie

The solution is not entirely convenient, but it works on excel 2007. You select on the function bar (I do not know what it is professionally called, on which you can edit cells) and then Ctrl + C.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with copying cells in Excel 2007 using Ctrl-C, where users report that copied cells do not retain borders or formulas, and require multiple attempts to function correctly. Some users found that using alternative shortcuts like Ctrl + Ins for copying and Shift + Ins for pasting worked temporarily. Others noted that the problem persisted even after reinstalling Excel and running it in safe mode. A user suggested that the issue may have started after using Visual Basic, which could have altered Excel's functionality. Solutions included selecting the function bar before copying and checking for keyboard issues, as the problem did not occur in other applications.
