The keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + c, Ctrl + v do not work for me, but I can easily copy via the menu, paste, copy, cut, I do not know what the reason is, I suspect that after installing Java SDK1.4 ... the settings have changed,
I don't know where to look for the reason
Does anyone know how and where I can restore these copying hotkeys ??
I will add that it is a win98 system.

Check if your keyboard layout has changed by accident (Regional Settings).

    You have Blaster virus ...
    ***
Update: or you don't have it, since it's 98 ... although it can be installed "manually" in this system as well.

-shift + Insert, shift + delete works for me, but ctrl + insert does not work, recently I used these shortcuts a lot in the Borland3.1 C ++ IDE, (under the console); maybe something has changed and it also works under the elevator, but how to switch it to ctrl + c, ctrl + v?

    - the regional settings have not changed, the Polish language is set,
just what surprised me, when I clicked on the selection bar, a selection list with about 20 repeating settings for Polish, for English, and a few the same characters or strings "-Ż" appeared

    - recently I checked Antivirus-Casper and I did not find any viruses, I will try to scan online with mskvir

recently I was doing updates (Windows update) and installed a lot of packages but I didn't have time to read what is being installed, maybe this update made some changes to the settings.

    How can I restore my previous settings (i.e. Ctrl + c, ctrl + v)

OK, I found the Trojan: troj_esepor.c
    http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=TROJ_ESEPOR.C

the problem is that I can not get to the task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete), because the CTRL key does not work, is there any other way to get to this manager and close the task?

how can I activate the CTRL key ?? I know that you can disable the function of enabling the manager by Ctrl + Alt + Shift in the registry. has this Ctrl key been blocked in the registry as well, if so, how can it be unlocked?

if you want to disable something, you can do it START - RUN and type msconfig and you have access to the system configuration. It may help you.

thanks for the advice, spyhunter has detected a Trojan on my system, gave me exact locations in the registry; And here I have a question: how do I remove these entries from the registers, will I get rid of it completely? I can't do this with spyhunter because I would have to buy the full version, and other programs like Ad-aware, spy sweeper don't detect anything.

as for the ctrl key, it unlocked, but the 2 PageUp and PageDown keys stopped working.
