Can the freezer work in an unheated room where the temperature drops below zero in winter? Will it work well and won't it affect its durability? I am asking for opinions

Even with the door open :D

Mine stands on the balcony and does not complain in winter. You just need to make sure that the rain or snow does not fall directly, because it can quickly "catch the corrosion".

In case someone finds out about this topic in the future, it seems to me that it is worth emphasizing that it is only a freezer, not a fridge-freezer - it can no longer stand in a cold room.

Out of curiosity, I will ask why? The in-laws in the boiler room have a refrigerator that works for several years in the winter to -10 degrees and works.

Because it is an old refrigerator, without the self-defrosting function - new devices with this function need a minimum of + 15 degrees. environment for proper operation.
