    Hello!

I am the owner of Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. Recently, while checking something in the resource monitor, I noticed that it shows memory hardware errors. They are not present all the time, but they appear quite often, especially when running certain programs, as can be seen in the screenshot:

This surprised me because the system is stable. So I did a memory test using Memtest86 but it showed no memory problems. Hence the question: What errors is the resource monitor actually showing? Should they bother me or is it normal?

    Regards!

If you did MemTest (provided that it was from a bootable CD and not from Windows) and did not show any bad blocks in memory, then you have nothing to worry about.

Memtest was run from a USB flash drive, but as a separate system anyway. I'm glad to hear that everything is OK with memory, but in that case I'm even more curious about what the performance monitor shows. Could it be a measurement error?

When something starts to happen, you can try the "repair" option from the win 7 installer tile.

But ... yes, I read and read the posts of other users, and it usually turns out that it is just plain rubbish: o

I had a similar case with one memory chip, that MemTest from Windows showed 170 some errors. However, made of a bootable CD (about 3 times to be sure) it did not detect them at all. Memory is working so far (about a year) without any complaints.
So I wouldn't suggest using Windows pointers (they are often strange).

To be sure, I repeated the tests, they confirmed that my memory is OK.

Thank you for your help. :)
