    Hello

I’d like to set up a lighting system at home controlled by a device connected to the LAN (tablet, laptop, etc.).
I was thinking of using the MH-IO12E6-2 controller to switch on the lights as well as the roller blinds.
Does anyone here have any experience in this area and could advise whether this controller would be suitable for this, or perhaps suggest an alternative solution?

This is a smart home module from F&F – specifically, the F&Home module with 12 on/off control inputs, 6 inputs for roller blinds and 4 inputs for controlling the dimmer module. You would need a touchscreen panel (the system’s central control unit) and connect the module to it via Wi-Fi; the module itself cannot be used on its own. As far as I recall, you can use it as a bistable relay (i.e. click to switch on, click to switch off); judging by the markings, I’d say it’s a Level 2 module (it should say ‘Level 2’ on it). Of course, to use its outputs, you’ll need to use a relay module.

    I’ll suggest another solution.

    Integra + ETHM-1.

For a small quantity, you could just go for the ETHM-2.

    Best regards

He was considering buying a Sterbox PLC2011A0.
Domito offers an interesting solution, but they have their own control panels and I think there’s no option to control them via a tablet or mobile phone :( .

In the case of the above controllers, if you want to control the lighting, do you run the power supply directly from the distribution board to the relevant light bulb, and connect the UPT cable to the switch?

I’ve used Sterbox controllers to control the lighting, roller shutters, entrance gates and garden watering outlets. Controlling them via a tablet works brilliantly, whether locally or remotely – all via the web.
As for heating, these controllers aren’t suitable for that at the moment; unless you just need to switch a boiler on or off, for example, in which case I have no problem with using them.
