    I warmly welcome

Returning from work today, I had an unpleasant incident. While driving, a screw hit my right front wheel. When I was trying to pull it out, air started coming out of the tire so I didn't move anymore and drove slowly home. On the way, I stopped by the tire workshop to see the prices of new tires. In my car (Citroen xsara 2 hdi) I assume Michelin 195/55 / R15 -85H tires and new ones cost about E 120 per item. By the way, I saw that our Cormorants sell, so I'm curious what their opinions are. According to the seller, Kormorany is a Michelin product, only of lower quality. In the factory where he works, a lot of Tirovs come and quite a lot have either Kormorans or Stomils.
Worth buying them? I know Michelin is better but I have to keep economy in mind. Finally a crisis in Spain :D

And there is a crisis ...
I do not know where my friend buys them, I have a promotion and the exchange for 195/65 / R15 Micheline Saver calls only 75 EUR.
For this such a coupon. :)

And it is in Spain, despite the crisis, such prosperity prevails that they do not have vulcanization plants?
What is the problem to patch the tire after the bolt? And definitely cheaper than a new tire, even with discounts ;)
Unless it was some exceptionally huge screw.

    Hello

The tire is already worn out, it has probably already 35,000 km and you can see that it is already slightly broken, so it's time to replace it (both at the front, one is from 2010 and the other from 2011, they put them on for me last year and I did not stop ) and it is not profitable to repair it. Every day I go back and forth to work for a total of 85 km, so the tires must be good because I drive once alone and once in five people.
I want to exchange them in Toledo because I live here. I have not seen an offer on Michelin and it is not clear from your responses whether it is worth buying one or not?

You know what I used to have Kormoran tires in ibiz, they were 175/70 / R13, I used them for two summer seasons and I was very happy with them, so I personally recommend Kormoran tires

    Last week I also punctured a tire - patching - 9 EUR.
I founded the Michelin Saver at the end of 2007 and I still drive (~ 50km daily).

However, I would recommend branded tires. The difference is often 10-20 EUR and you will drive longer and in SAFER! According to some internal Michelin tests, they clash more slowly with the rest, hence the name ...

it all depends on the quality and price, and the brand ???? it's not quite anymore

I bought a front for my 4x4 Goodyear Wrangler HP All Weather in the spring - apparently the best !!!
So far compared to the tires I had michelin synchro or KUMHO All let me say this: drama!

Like branded, like the best ...
the tires howl as if the car had no front bearings at the present temperature. + 30'c squeaks every turn, hard and uncomfortable (the car jumps like a wheelbarrow),
not what better braking distance, but compared to the above - I will not buy them anymore,
so if the difference is large then buy - at least the heart will not hurt

    It's worth it.
Previously I had Cormorants and they were amazing. I let myself be persuaded, for some reason, to Fulda. They wore out quickly and keeping them on the road, especially when it is dry, is a tragedy.

To be precise, Kormoran tires are produced in Serbia, and these are not "our" tires anymore.

How much did you pay for a piece and in what size?

And do these Cormorants have a model name or a specific designation?
As with Dębica, the winter frigo according to A very good tire for me, but I like the summer tire passionately and do not recommend it.

It was the 2000 model. I don't know how much it cost because I bought it together with the car. Today the model is no longer produced. But a friend who has already torn off more than one set, including those from the higher shelves, also praised the Cormorants, although a different model. So I made a good impression of them.

Good tires - they cost well ... What to hide. These Cormorants are cheap, they value ~ 350 for 18 inches, I prefer to buy Toyo stimulants or similar ...

    Hello

Finally, I opted for tires Continental and such I installed. There are two Continental at the front and Michelin at the back. I used to have Pirelli but I wasn't too happy with them.

    Regards

PS I think we can close this topic
