    Hello everyone,

The customer has a small CCTV system at home: 4 analogue cameras and a recorder. It’s a cheap setup; it cost around 1,300–1,400 PLN in total.

    BCS 0404LEA recorder

The cameras work well and the picture quality is good, which is why the customer doesn’t want to replace them.

And a Fibaro HC2. What are the options for connecting the camera feed to the Fibaro controller?

I know you can connect IP cameras, but that’s out of the question price-wise.
Do you know of any other recorders that work with the Fibaro HC2?
Maybe with a bit of tweaking, this BCS one will work?

I’m digging this up because I’ve got a similar problem. Did you manage to sort things out with the analogue recorder, or did you end up replacing the cameras after all?

    Cheers,
    Michał

I’m in a similar situation. I have a Fibaro HCL and a set of analogue cameras with a recorder. Has anyone figured out if there’s a way to connect them?

    Hello,

    I’m reviving this thread :)

Has anyone managed to connect a BCS IP camera to the FIBARO HC2?
    I’m having a problem at a client’s site – I can’t connect to the camera via the HC2.

Never mind that the original thread is about analogue cameras, not IP ones.
Which model of IP camera? – there shouldn’t be a problem with BCS

    The camera model is bcs-tip4201air-III
Now the question is: is it better to connect the cameras in series or to add a BCS recorder as well?

    Thank you for your interest

Are there no capital letters in the camera model? [retrofood]
