What is this series supposed to be for? Or maybe this vertical line is a separation of two series?

The vertical line is on the button under the Backcpace key. There is also a \ sign on this key. However, don`t be fooled by the character on the keyboard, as it shows two short lines. In some programs it is displayed as one dash, and in DOS, for example, it is displayed as a key.

    I hope I helped you.

This vertical line also looks like some sort of separation to me. And just in case this is not the case, you have this icon on your keyboard: SHIFT+\ . |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
It`s possible that you have or it inserts a line divided in the middle (two lines) - it`s one and the same. And if anything, you can always press left ALT and type 124 from the numeric keyboard.

Simple, but it helped. That`s a plus. He came in, I didn`t even have time to blink. Thanks.
