    Hello.
I need to replace the thermostat in the oven, and to remove it I need to dismantle the glass cover.
The problem is that it is attached with latches and I am afraid to force it.
Maybe one of my colleagues knows how to disassemble it and will give you some advice.
Thank you in advance. How to Safely Remove Glass Cover for Thermostat Replacement in Amica Oven How to Safely Remove Glass Cover for Thermostat Replacement in Amica Oven How to Safely Remove Glass Cover for Thermostat Replacement in Amica Oven

I don`t know what exact model you have, but the latches look similar to those in my oven (it`s hard to tell from these photos)... try to squeeze the latch lightly with a pair of pliers and push it forward... it should pop out nicely without using much force.

The only thing is that the glass won`t break when I push out, for example, the first latch.
The plate has five latches and the glass is not flexible.

I have the EBP8752 model and it also has glass and 5 latches all over it... after removing the first one, the rest may deflect a little... the latches are glued to the glass so they work a bit... of course, don`t overdo it with pushing it out because if you squeeze it it will pop off a little... you start from the extreme corner (preferably the bottom corner because you probably don`t have a latch in the middle), then the next latch above it, then the middle one and the latches from the other corner... I`ve already pulled it out several times and everything it`s OK, nothing broke... I don`t encourage you to disassemble it, you do everything at your own risk, but if you don`t feel up to it, you`ll probably have to call a service technician... I don`t know what model of oven you have, but is it really necessary to remove the glass? for this exchange? In my case there is only a touch panel under the glass... of course, if you have any knobs on the outside, it is a good idea to remove them before removing the glass.
