    Hello, today I was coming back from the mechanic where I reported a fault consisting in not burning the mixture in my Jetta 2.5 b+g, he uploaded it to the computer and showed 11 errors - regarding the cylinders of the lampda probe and the flow meter, he erased the errors and it turned out that in the first place the flowmeter needs to be replaced - he removed it - however, it turned out that no store currently has it in stock, he put it together as it was and went home, on the way back the following information lit up for me:

    the oil level is normal, it was a little over the min but I topped it up to the max and still the same

    ok and now can i drive to the mechanic on my own or just a tow truck? I have about 2 km to it, I read somewhere on a foreign forum that the indicator does not signal it at idle:
    "You didn't get the warning at idle, because the warning (for some odd reason) is disabled below 2000 RPM. That it came on when you moved off (over 2k) is proper operation, and indicates you probably really do have an oil problem - most likely the dreaded clogged oil pump screen. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR until proper oil pressure has been confirmed with a manual oil pressure gauge. It's kind of normal for the warning to come and go (at first) as the oil pressure will vary with temperature, load, RPM, etc."

    It was already on the electrode that in VAG cars the pressure lamp is lit by the computer, which only checks the pressure sensor over 2000 rpm from time to time. So you really don't know if you have oil pressure, you can start the car and wait for it to go off, but if there is no pressure then the engine will run dry.
