Hello, I have a slightly unusual question. Well, I bought a new computer and since I don`t have a better place in the room (the tall casing doesn`t fit under the desk), it will be placed on the windowsill, next to the desk. There is a radiator under the windowsill and I have some doubts here. Will nothing bad happen to the USB, power and DVI cables if I am exposed to constant heat from the radiator? These cables will constantly be in contact with the surface of the radiator. Would it be wiser to completely switch to a second radiator away from the computer?

They`ll be fine. PVC insulation withstands up to 105 degrees.

For the elegance of the solution, you can consider using a masking strip. There are plenty of them on the market now (not necessarily white ones). You can also use a decorative conduit to hide all the cables going towards the desk.

Instead of radiators, it is better to take care of the windows, position the equipment so that the wind does not blow rain on your electronics when it is gusty.

There will be no problem with this, there is a balcony outside the window and water cannot reach the glass.
