    Hello.
Can someone tell me how to evenly bend a small piece of aluminum sheet (up to 40-50cm) 0.8-1mm, so as not to damage the surface?
The bend is to be on both sides of the sheet and at the very end with 1 cm bent also by 90 degrees.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a sheet metal bender.

Even from the bending machine, traces will remain. It's not deep damage, but it's noticeable. The sheet metal is always cleaned after the bending machine.
The home method is to bend the sheet metal nicely. You can use two massive wooden blocks with a sheet between them and tightly bolted together. With the third block and hammer, slowly knock down. How it turns out depends only on your abilities and attitude.

Such lengths basically only on a bending machine. Home methods are unlikely to succeed, and attempts to assemble a handle will cost more than ordering a service in a factory. And attempts to bend piece by piece may result in deformation. Aluminum is soft and stretches a lot.
Aluminum is usually covered with a protective foil, so if you don't have one on your sheet, you can cover it with something before bending.

I've bent sheet metal at home dozens of times without using a bender. The trick is in a certain way which is explained in detail by the drawing in the attachment. What is it all about? On the sheet, I draw a line in the place to be folded, then using an angle grinder or, for example, a Dremel, I make a shallow groove after the line. I choose a wooden block and screw the whole thing to the table with clamps. I bend the sheet with the help of a board selected to the size of the sheet. It's a good idea to try the method on a few different scraps of sheet metal. With practice, the bend is perfect.
    Greetings.

I actually didn't think about cutting the sheet metal to make it easier. Maybe not with a dremel, but maybe with a stylus after applying the ruler, it would be easier and better to make a groove / incision.

    Anyway, thanks a lot.

Unfortunately, this sheet is without foil. Earlier, I was already thinking that I would have to either protect the sheet or cover it with what I will be bending this sheet.
