I'm going to buy a Kia Cee'd around 2007-2008 with a 1.6 engine. I started looking in google about LPG installation and its failure in this model. Anyone have installed LPg for Kia and can write something more. Is it worth bothering about gas for this model or give up the car?

Good car, recommendable. The disadvantages in my opinion are: stabilizer links like to fly in it, the tailgate can corrode, the original radio can hang and the notorious crackling of the dashboard, but I would not recommend you to install the gas, generally even Kia Motors Polska advises you not to install gas. Problems after installing the gas are with the head and once I have encountered LPG in sportage with excessive clearance between the pistons and the cylinder, apparently the gas was to blame.

STAG has its own LPG-powered KIA and they praise it. When you screw up the job and 99% of gasmen do it, it all flies. Toyota with VVTi also fly and I'm driving and it's ok, so far only 35kkm on LPG, we'll see what will happen after another 35kkm, some after 100km the head fell :D

I also drive 127 kkm and I think I will drive for a long time, but you need to take care of the valve clearance (check and possibly correct).

Well, good luck with the clearance adjustment of the VVTi low cost which has no plates and only glasses to size. Currently, Toyota has gone into hydraulic self-regulators, or at least in the Yaris because I drive them.
So I do not even check the clearance because when it comes to grinding the glasses, the cost will exceed the replacement of the motor and I have the second one as a spare. Maybe someday I will check the clearances for another 35kkm ;-p or wait for it to rain.

I've read about the flap and stabilizers, but you can get over it. At the beginning, I was thinking about the gas version (there is 1 pc from Germany with BRC gas for 7 years), but I departed from this idea.

I currently have a waffle 3 with 1.4 AEX, and judging by what people write, the Kia burns almost exactly like mine.
I think about gas in the near future, but it is not 100% sure, so I ask in advance.

Honestly, if you have to set up gas or buy gas, these are only Polish systems, you will buy BRC, you will complain if it does not work and the chakra will bill you for 1500 and it will still not work, for this cylinder is approved for 10 years, so to be honest, I would prefer myself assume than buy with. There is also the other side of the coin, Polish gasmen are mostly bunglers looking at it to earn money quickly, so you will also have to go if you get it wrong. Only proven workshops recommended on the forum, preferably partner workshops, so that you would not be left on the ice.

I came to the same conclusion and skipped the car with the gas already installed.

The only advantage of a car with gas is an entry in the registration certificate which allows for spontaneous modifications, so it is cheaper than with a gasman, but then you need to know gas or learn, for this car it is best to have a Polish driver, then possible changes, the injectors can be the reducer if it was in a bungler and of course the gas is not 7 years old and let's say two three, then the cylinder is lux and you can play.

I know a few Kia ceed that have 100k + driven on gas and nothing, some recommend gas with lubrication but I do not know what effect it has on these engines. As for knocking (valve play), it is worth avoiding such symptoms when buying, it may well be a chain or a more serious fault.

Kia ceed sw 2007 1.6. Gas 50 k. STAG 300 + lube installation. The basis is a good assembly. Works perfectly with gas burning + 15%. In Krakow, I can recommend the gas generator that installed the installation in all my cars. There was no problem with any of them, and I had several of them. Overall, the toy car is great with a few small inconveniences to get over. It is best to buy a clean car and install the installation. Then you know what's under the hood.

I bought a 2010 Ceed in 1.4 gasoline. The car is already after the lifts, so far I can only praise :-)

Congratulations, a very nice car. You can easily put a stag in it, with the current gas prices it is very cheap to drive.

When I decide to use gas, I will mention this to my trusted gas company

    Thanks for the information.
