Hi, I have a little problem, my ps3 works fine until today. When I turn on the consoles, there is sound, but when I turn on the game, it is gone. Only writes on the TV "unsupported audio format, check connection at device output"
What is it and how to fix it ?? On YT, there is sound in the movies, too, and in the menu.

What kind of cable do you send the sound and directly to the TV or receiver? it is possible that in
sound settings, you can have formats set that are not supported by the TV or ampltuner, e.g. dts or dolby digital, etc.

I don't know much about it, but I will say that I have 2 cables, power supply and hdmi.
Everything has been hooked up for 2 years and only overnight sound is not only in games.
    The cables are directly attached:
Power supply for console and socket
HDMI on one side a TV and an expensive console.

Enter sound settings and set HDMI output to stereo only.

Did you connect any additional device under hdmi? TV tuner or something else?
Sometimes the tv switches signals wrong and there is a conflict myself, I had it.

Try to replace the HDMI cable, if that doesn't help, find the original AV cable from the console and fire up the console on it, without using HDMI.

Maybe the sound file has not been downloaded, so there is no sound and you have to uninstall and install the game, that's what happened to me.
