As in the subject - on the lower edge of the apron, a piece of rubber tore off and water is leaking. I have a piece of rubber from another apron and I want to try to glue it together - what glue should I use? Butapren falls off - I tried it and after 2 washes at 60 degrees the patch flew off...

Two-component adhesive PLASTIC CEMENT PC 4 (glues belt conveyors in mines and diving equipment) or SC 4000. But at these prices, this gluing may be unprofitable.

In fact - the price of glue is comparable to the price of an apron ... And any other cheaper solution?

A cheaper solution may be butapren, but I am not able to determine how much the glued apron can withstand.

Robson is right, no glue will glue it, even silicone which has very good adhesive properties does not stick to this rubber composition.

If you don't know what it's about, you know it's about money :( A new apron costs PLN 150, and a replacement costs PLN 100 ... And I was hoping to organize some glue for less money.

The glue I linked you costs PLN 10, so not a fortune.
It can be useful for many purposes...
You can also combine with real butaprene, not some Dragon brand crap, but Pattex - I doubt that properly applied it wouldn't hold.

There are a lot of good adhesives on the market, it's a matter of looking and familiarizing yourself with their capabilities,

To the MODERATOR - in my case, damage to the apron does not threaten safety in any way or pose a threat to the use of the washing machine - just a little water drips from it. So please don't be so harsh - I take all self-repairs on myself.

I bought this glue today - I'm going to test it right now.

Gluing the apron puts the user of the washing machine at risk as well as damaging the device.
