Hello,
Boiler: Brotje Energy Top 24CTE.
Symptoms: Error E01. I did a bug reset as described in the manual probably 50 times and nothing.
This morning I heard the boiler go on for a while, something hummed and it turned off. The whole thing lasted about 2-3 seconds.
The problem appeared after I disassembled the boiler's power plug (I had to pull the cable behind the cabinet), then reassembled it and plugged it into the socket.
After turning it on, everything seemed okay - the display did not indicate anything, but after turning on the hot water, the boiler would not turn on and this error appeared.
Then I had to leave the house and came back after about 1h. The display still showed an error. I looked through the manual and found a record of L / N polarity. After checking the plug, I found that the L / N is altered with respect to the poles in the socket (it actually flashed through my mind when I first twisted the plug, but found it wouldn't matter). I corrected the poles.
I had a phone call yesterday with the fitter of this boiler and he pointed out this polarity to him after I mentioned the plug to him (except that I already found it in the manual earlier) and told me to try to reset, because E01 should be able to reset.
The change in the plug did not help. There is an E01 error all the time. Reset also does nothing.
The problem I have is that it is a holiday and weekend, and I have neither hot water nor heating at home :-)
I would be grateful for any suggestions.
