Has any of your colleagues already dealt with this decoder? Apparently it has built-in wifi and should connect to livebox without a cable. I saw it at the customer's place, but it was already connected with a cable. Is the first installation via wifi possible? How does it look in practice? Of course, we are talking about receiving via sat.

Detailed installation instructions are included with the modem, and this is exactly what you should do.

I was browsing the Orange website and found something there. The question is, what does it look like in practice? No more pulling on the livebox cable? Do you have a link to the manual? They write that it is enough to press P + P- in the decoder and WPS in livebox.

Yes, the set-top box establishes a WiFi connection using WPS with LB 2.0 and FunBox. How to connect the set-top box via Wi-Fi? only SAT TV
    1. Disconnect the Ethernet cable connecting it to the set-top box (if connected) - you should see a message saying that there is no connection.
    2. Press the P + and P- buttons simultaneously on the front panel of the decoder. The LED on the left side of the display should start flashing. If it is not flashing - press the buttons again.
    3. Press the WPS button on the back of the FunBox or the Wi-Fi button on the front of the Livebox 2.0. The LED with the antenna on the modem should start blinking.
    4. The LED on the left side of the decoder display (the one that was flashing) lights up green, and after about 10 seconds it will go out. The not connected message will disappear from the screen.
If the LED does not turn green and the message on the screen is still displayed, perform all the steps again, or connect the decoder with an Ethernet cable

I read it. Important, is it possible to do the first installation via wifi? What is the range? Someone did it in practice?

Yesterday I had such a decoder again. Apparently it went through the first installation using wifi, but it crashes with livebox connection error every time it starts up. Livebox behind one wall in a single-family house, 6-7m in a straight line, which is very poor range.
