    Welcome,

    I have a UE40ES5500W TV set. I wanted to hang it on the wall on the bracket that I "inherited" from the former owners of the apartment.
    Unfortunately, it turns out that the holes for the mounting screws in the TV are not equal to the "back" of the TV, but as if in a hole (photo below). Hence my two questions:
    1 / what VESA screws are in this TV model - I mean the thread size and possibly the maximum length so as not to drill into the screen :-)
    2 / what distance should I buy to compensate for the "hole"?

    The spacers are together with the tv accessories.
    As for the screws, their dimensions are in the instruction manual.

    VESA is spacing, not size. Probably M8 and the length is 20,25,30 mm (need to check). The spacing is probably 400x400.

    Forgive me ... My fault ... I did not write that I do not have spacers and there is no word about the size of the screws in the manual.
    If I had / I would not bother in this forum.

    How did you get distances, until it is impossible. Three years ago I bought a tv and they were together with tv, a month ago I bought a second tv and they were also with tv accessories.

    I do not exclude that the set with the TV / wall bracket included appropriate screws - the passage of time meant that I do not have them.

    I will go to Castorama and choose something and then I will write what it was and if it fit.

    I know if you solved the problem of the TV and the lack of distance, because I have the same problem, I have no way to attach the holder because there are holes in the TV and there is no distance
