Hello, replacing the reducer did not help, today there were gentlemen from the gas company and they replaced the new one, the stove still does not turn on unless after several resets, or when it wants to, and after a break longer than 10-15 minutes there is no chance of it starting, but at least I know that the reducer did not fail and is not failing, tomorrow the service will be with some new electronics, but what good will it do...? I think we need to start a serious war with them, because it`s a waste of words.

I have just returned from a client, error 501 caused by a clogged condensate drain, connection, main exchanger, siphon... Of course, it is one of many causes.

My furnace went crazy again today. I guess it won`t be possible without some actual service on recommendation...

Was the condensate in the discharge pipe or in the container? In my case, its condition is almost below the pipe leading to the siphon in the wall.

Yesterday, after reading the post, I accessed the condensate tube, there was water in the tank, but I guess it will always be there because it works like a siphon, i.e. it pours into the tube after filling, after disconnecting the tank, I also blew the upper part of the tube into the combustion chamber, there was no resistance to the flow. , so nothing has changed, still the error, today there was a service, the motherboard was replaced again, because it was old (i.e. 2 weeks old ;-/), something burned in it and it lost its settings and the stove instead of burning e.g. 6 meters of gas a day ( this was my consumption in the past at temperatures around -5C - 0C) it burned for 12-14 hours!!! where we have a temperature of +5C during the day +8C at night, at most 0C, so it`s a failure, for now the stove works and turns on, although I don`t believe that it will do anything because what is the difference between this plate and the other two, but we`ll see how the consumption will be I will also complain about the gas because it is not about burning more than twice as much as it should, (if it is not under warranty, it is better to unscrew it and throw it away immediately, because almost the equivalent of the furnace has already been replaced in parts) the meter has been written down - we will see. Regards

And the stove worked!! whole 2 hours, ignition attempts failed, flame went out, error 501, folk Polish again, no words!

My hands are shaking too. At least you have a warranty, and if I were you, I would exercise my right under the Act on Special Conditions of Sale by demanding that the stove be replaced with a completely new one.

There`s a fight with Ariston right now, but it`s... a Sisyphean job, there`s been a fight on the phone for several days, I`ve been calling, we`ll see, I`ve been to a lawyer, it`s not that simple, their duty is to fix things until they succeed, no matter how many times, only you can count on the fact that the repairs exceed the value of the furnace, and they will replace it, because it is a greater loss for them. We`ll see. Recently, my furnace has also been acting strangely, for example when I turn it on after a dozen or so resets, I don`t know why, e.g. the temperature on the radiators goes from 40C to 70C and the radiators are boiling, while outside it`s 10-15C. And gas consumption is twice as high. And what you saved in two or three months you will now pay!! Massacre. next winter a goat ;) there is no solution with a water jacket. ;)

    Hello,

I replaced my motherboard yesterday. Surprisingly, the one sent from Ariston was slightly different in terms of construction, as well as several solutions with different EPROM boards. So far, the hob has made the stove work very stably, ignites quickly and heats as it should. I made the settings based on the instructions attached to the board for the Genus Premium 24 boiler. Let`s hope that this will solve the problem...

Did Ariston send you the CD? This company sucks; doesn`t care about the customer or service technicians :(

Sent by Ariston, but I ordered through the online store. Ariston doesn`t care about the customer because they produce, and the service is the one they chose... It`s sad, especially since there are so many of them... But oh well... Let`s hope everything will be fine now...

If it works, the company decided to replace the boiler with a new one ;) so ok, it`s a pity that after such stress,

error 501 disappeared, but with the replacement of the boiler with a new one, so I don`t know and the service doesn`t know what was the cause either ;/ I have another question about your daily gas consumption with such a boiler, I remind you of the Ariston Genus Premium dual-function, i.e. on radiators and on a 150 liter boiler water, about 120 m2, more or less, just write, best regards

It`s great that you managed to solve the problem... I can give you half-yearly consumption, because that`s how it was written by PGNiG. From August 1 to the end of December I used 202 m3. so it comes out to about 40 m3, but I won`t say how much, because it`s probably more during the heating season and less outside of it (except for water). The temperature on the controller is set to 22-23 degrees when I`m at home, and when I`m away I keep it at 19 degrees so as not to cool the walls. The water on the stove is 42 degrees Celsius and the heating temperature is 50 degrees Celsius. Low heating temperature means that post-circulation is often turned on.

This would be correct, but for the summer season when the radiators obviously do not heat, so for maintaining 150 liters of hot water throughout the month, it would cost me about 40-50 m3 because my water settings are 40 C and in the winter the radiators also set 50 C. , but now, i.e. radiators and hot water with the same settings consumes 9-10 m3 of gas per day, both in auto mode, i.e. with and without an external sensor. I know that the previous furnace consumed 6-7 meters of gas per day at such external temperatures (-3 C - +5 C). I will ask another service technician to set it up because it is too much, I had such fuel consumption but when it was frosty - 15 degrees below zero!! I will add that the house is not insulated, but fuel consumption clearly increased after the boiler was replaced. I also heard that the quality of gas is worse, so the boiler has to use more to obtain the same energy (they have to make up for the bad winter somehow) - but how to check it? Regards.

Have your service technician replace the ionization electrode. I didn`t find it in the list of listed items. In my practice, I had two very similar cases, although the electrode seemed undamaged, after replacing it the symptoms disappeared.

    Hello

I also have a Genus Premium Ariston boiler and after 3.5 years of trouble-free operation (I do not count the replacement of the hot water temperature sensor after about 2 years) it stopped starting "at the first time". Then it started after several resets. I bought a new ionization probe, which helped for about 6 days of continuous operation. Until I finally reached the point where the stove, despite the freshly cleaned, new electrode, throws error 501. I found on an auction website an immediate motherboard repair service regarding error 501 (no flame). The most interesting thing about all this is that the stove starts every time (i.e. through the viewfinder you can see the flame in the combustion chamber and hear the gas ignition) but the stove does not see the flame and after 3 attempts it stops. Does anyone have experience with motherboard repair by a company from Lublin?

    Regards, Marek

The issue was not solved even by the service technician who did not fully guess what was the reason for the stove not firing. Ultimately, after many phone calls and a total of almost three months of fighting with the stove, the company agreed to replace the stove and extend the warranty. That`s how it ended. Regards.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around persistent error 501 (flame failure) in the Ariston Genus Premium stove, despite multiple replacements of internal components including the motherboard, solenoid valves, ignition electrodes, and fan. Users report intermittent functionality, with the stove sometimes igniting after several attempts but failing to maintain flame. Suggestions include checking the gas pressure, ensuring proper combustion air intake, and examining the condensate drain for blockages. Some users have experienced improvements by adjusting the air intake or cleaning the ionization electrode. Ultimately, one user resolved the issue by replacing the stove entirely after prolonged service failures. The conversation highlights frustrations with service responses and the complexity of diagnosing the problem.
