Hello, I have this problem at a client's house. I have done all the installation in the customer's house under the Vimar system (smart home). Everything is connected and working. After 8 months of use, the customer said he wanted to install two roller shutters on his Velux roof windows. I've already commissioned the cables but I have a question about the connection. I have read that the motors are powered by 24V DC and there is a two-wire cable going to them. The customer wants to have them paired with a home automation system. It is not a problem for me to purchase a power supply and drive the roller shutter relays. The problem is that I'm not sure what wattage the motors are (I don't know what wattage power supply to use) and are the motors controlled by reversing polarity on the power supply only? Please help

Without going into any more technical details related to the above query.... today I noticed an offer for boards that will allow Velux to be more easily integrated into home automation systems. I guess an important advantage of this offer is that it preserves the built-in safety functions of the motor control system.
