    Hello,
I would like to install a so-called intelligent house at home in the game is only a wireless system. I have been snooping around on the Internet and I do not know what to choose, I hesitate between the Verde control panel (not to hide the cheaper one) and Fibaro, unless there is perhaps something else?

Have you considered the Fibaro HC Lite control panel ? It's cheaper than the full version and there aren't as many restrictions.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

Yes, I was thinking about it, but according to the description it does not have one important function for me, i.e. there is no possibility of integrating it with the satel alarm system. Unless something can be done about it?

i'm not sure it's a good idea, because it has a lot of limitations.
The very fact that there is no LUA results in a significant loss of capability.
The best thing about Fibaro is precisely the plugins in LUA, and there are none in the Lite version.
If Fibaro, then HC2 is a must.

Other wireless devices : Delta-Dore , Homematic, Zipato, Zodianet, Loxone

Simple to use are all those listed above.
Full integration with Sateel only has Fibaro but in the others you can integrate so a little around.
Each of these products has different advantages and disadvantages.
If I were you, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Vera, as it is a nice control panel. It is sufficient for small installations. If you plan to connect a larger number of modules, then HC 2, as it is several times more efficient than Very.

I don't know how many modules there are for such control panels, I'm thinking of operating lights, socket, roller blinds, door and window sensors, garden irrigation, maybe some cameras, to start with, then I'm thinking of extending it even further. I know that fibaro has something like a locator, thanks to which when I come back from work and arrive home, it switches off the alarm and opens the gate and garage without using a remote control. Can these other systems also be programmed in this way?

You can, but you have to programme it manually.

I am also in a dilemma as to which system to choose for managing the installations in the house. I'm talking about burglar-proof roller shutters, lighting, entrance and garage doors, and eventually an alarm system and temperature control. Which is better suited to a detached house - fibaro or verde?

the answer, unfortunately, is not simple.
It depends on many things :
    1. which and what manufacturer of devices do you want to use ?
    - fibaro devices : choose Vere or Fibaro
    - devices from other manufacturers : choose Vere
You need to know beforehand which devices you are going to use. Spend as much time as possible on it, because it is worth it. There are huge differences in prices, functionality and reliability of devices from various manufacturers.
    2. Polish language
    - Fibaro : interface fully in Polish, documentation mostly in en and fr, very poor.
    - Vera : the latest control panel is not yet fully translated, previous ones are. Documentation mostly en but good.
    3. Support for standards other than Z-wave
    - Fibaro : no
    - Vera: yes , several extensions over USB (Insteon, RFXCOM, EnOcean, RS ....)
    4. Plug-ins for other systems
    - Fibaro : not yet fully operational
    - Vera : yes
    5. Performance :
    - Fibaro : 8/10
    - Vera : 5/10
    6. Mobile applications - my subjective opinion here
    - Fibaro : for smartphone and tablet (Android and IOS), nice but not really ergonomic, closed to changes
    - Vera : several , for all platforms, flexible, customisable
    7. Open to modifications
    - Fibaro : closed
    - Vera : everyone gets a root password
    8. Security
    - Fibaro : HTTP
    - Vera : HTTPS
    9. Z-wave standard
    - Fibaro : 3.x gen (change announced but not known when)
    - Vera : 5.x gen
    10. Networking of several control panels
    - Fibaro : yes
    - Vera : yes
    11. Service
    - Fibaro : on site in Poland, available even at night, large network of showrooms in Poland
    - Vera : you can only rely on the forum or alternatively call the US hotline

I know that I have not helped you much, but I hope that I have at least directed you a little on what to pay attention to.
I use both PBXs and devices from different companies in a very complex configuration.

And how about the breakdown rate? Are there often any problems, faults or other such stories?

I don't recall Fibaro causing me any problems. Everything runs rather smoothly. A matter of configuration.

Also, as my colleague above wrote.

Only in the beginning I was a little lost in the options, now rather everything goes intuitively.

Add to this the price, which can be crucial:
    Fibaro HC2 : around 2500
    Vera : under 1000zł

I'm just going to plug in because I don't want to start a new topic....

I'm thinking of changing my internet provider and in orange, together with the LTE package, you can also buy the Fibaro Home Center Lite Central Control Unit together with one of the sensors. For very little money compared to market prices (£69) you can already have the basis of a smart home. My requirements are not high because I would like to use it as a "guard" in case no one is at home, i.e. a few contractons, a motion detector, maybe a camera and in the future maybe other sensors. I will put an alarm on in the future. Please advise if I will connect each camera to the system, I am keen for it to be wireless as the camera offered D-linka 930L (according to the instructions) has to be connected via ethernet cable. Will this control panel work with the alarm system - is it only Satel or others as well. And from gadgets, what interesting things can be connected to this control panel...I can ask for a modest description or possibly links to these gadgets. I have read that you can control lights, TV etc through such control panels. One last question: does the purchase through Orange together with the subscription cause additional subscription costs...?

    Hi Gentlemen and Ladies ;)
I am new to this and don't really know where to say hello. So far I'm not advising too much but the topic of smart homes interests me terribly.
Could you give more differences between fiabro and nexwell ? I don't mean in terms of price, but more in terms of functionality.
By the way, I have recently found information on the web that fibaro is working on controlling homes via voice, anyone know more about this?
