    Hello
The radio worked in a truck unfortunately asking for a code after replacing the batteries.
I am asking for help in reading the code from the batch.
Input loaded with the easy pro 90b programmer.
    Radio Volvo cd memory 24c01.

Maybe someone has some input to this radio.

Interestingly, after desoldering the 24c01 souvenir, the radio still asks for the code.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Volvo radio that requires a code after battery replacement. The user seeks assistance in reading the code from the radio's memory, specifically a 24c01 EEPROM. Responses suggest checking if the memory can be read as a 24c16 EEPROM instead, which ultimately leads to a successful code retrieval. Despite the EEPROM being labeled as 24c01, it was confirmed that reading it as 24c16 yielded the correct code.
