    Hello

I intend to use a Fox system from Nexwell in my newly built house.
The control is the FoxControl app which can be installed on any mobile device.
I want to have one large tablet (approx 10") which will be mounted in the wall in a central location in the house.
Does anyone know of any ready-made housing, frame, bracket system so that the tablet can be installed in the wall or on the wall and the power cable is not very visible?

Thanks in advance for any hints.
    Regards

A car mount could be converted and used.

I recommend mounting the tablet to the wall using 3M double-sided tape. Underneath the tablet, you only need to make a groove in the plaster for the cable from the power supply. On the two strips along the tablet holds very well.
There is only one but - the tablet non-stop charged after some time works only on the power supply - the battery dies (maybe it is only on my copy, but I noticed such a phenomenon).

Interesting idea. I'd be interested to see it. Would you post some pictures once you've managed to mount it?

From my mounting of the tablet to the wall I unfortunately do not have photos. I replaced the tablet, a 15" touchscreen monitor, connected to a raspberry pi. I punched a hole in the wall and encased it with a custom-cut dibond frame.

Oh, well, that's a shame. Maybe you could at least show the end result?

And I wouldn't mount the tablet permanently at all, after all, mobility is its main advantage.
Of course, you need to find a place for it, but something like a docking station would be enough, then you can take it to another room, to the sofa, anywhere.

Look for a tablet that has a small docking station.

To be honest, I don't know if mounting it in the wall is a good idea (as already said, the mobility of tablets is their advantage). Isn't it better to mount a wall-mounted case? Or a desktop one (I have one in my company, ordered from tabkiosk if memory serves me right) works great, very practical solution. Or as said above- a docking station.

    i have the same problem.
I've worked out that I'm going to buy a tablet that can be disassembled/dismantled.
i'll put some neodymium magnets inside, hide some metal thing in the wall under the paint. As a last resort, I will glue the magnets to the tablet casing. Power transfer to charge the device either inductively or via two small contact fields (maybe even via magnets). A lot of tinkering. I don't know if this is an option in your case....
