    Hello.
I fitted a Mobilus Ares new model MR- motor with radio control to my old external roller shutter.
After fitting and programming the Mobilus Cosmo H5 remote control on one of the channels, the motor showed an extreme position where, after correcting with a suitable knob (on a plastic allen) up and down, the exact position of the roller shutter can be determined.
And this is where I have a problem.
Turning just one knob in one direction produces a shifting effect.
The other way does not work, nor does the other knob in either direction.
Well, the end position of the blind, e.g. bottom, can be set with this one knob shifting in one direction only. On the other hand, when rolled up to the top edge and looking for the mode to fix this position, it appears that the knobs do not work. Unless one continues to turn the roller (after first unzipping the blind, of course) to an automatic stop in the top position (several turns of the roller) where one of the knobs works, but again only in one direction.
Did I make some kind of mistake during installation? What can I do to get these knobs to work?

Check how many revolutions are needed to fully move the roller shutter. Take out the motor, switch on the closing until it stops, switch on the opening until it stops. Then pre-adjust the number of revolutions. Replace the motor and fine tune.

    That's what I've been doing.
As a guide, it takes 6 turns of the shaft to fully move the roller shutter.
I don't think you need to remove the motor - just unfasten the roller shutter clips (the roller can then be spun freely by the motor).
I turned it on and off until it stopped (sort of like a factory limit setting)
However, only one knob works for correction and that in one direction. In the other extreme setting, the other knob also works in one direction.
In the end, these limit settings ranged (after adjustments with the knob) from about 8 turns of the shaft to a dozen, and now I have more than 20.

So after setting the end positions and a few passes, the end positions diverge ?

    Well, yes.
And exactly I am causing the end settings to diverge due to correcting the knobs in only one direction causing the divergence.
I read somewhere that the maximum number of turns is 29.

So by turning one way it adjusts and the other way it doesn't ? /the same limit switch/

    yes.
When the roller shutter is rolled up, the motor reacts to the rotation of the knob in one direction, but does not move in the other.
Likewise, in the rolled-up blind position, the knob only responds in one direction.
This causes the positions to constantly diverge.

The first thing is to work out which knob adjusts the lower and which adjusts the upper end. The big arrows next to the knobs indicate the directions of rotation of the actuator, not the raising or lowering of the roller shutter - but I assume you already know that.
Once you know which knob is from which end stop then you unhook the armour from the roller tube and press lower. When the actuator stops, you then clip the armour back on and you have the lower end stop set. Now you press raise and while the roller shutter is going up, you turn the knob of the upper end stop "down":
    - If the actuator has switched off before reaching the upper end stop then you start to turn the 'plus' until the desired position is reached.
    - If it has not switched off before the upper end stop (you may have extended the range between the end stops on previous attempts) then you lower the roller shutter lower and again by pressing the lift, you turn "negative".

Thanks islander that's something I haven't tried yet "you press lift and while the roller blind is going up you turn the knob"
I'll check in a couple of days when I'm cured, maybe that's the problem I was turning after the roller shutter had stopped.
Regards, I'll reply when I find out.

Yes islander you were right the narrowing occurred when turning the right knob and in the right direction but while the engine was moving. Thank you
