Without any knowledge of electronics yourself, you won't be able to do much.
And the full model is given - is it the 42LG300C or the 42LG3000 ?

I am familiar with electronics, I service laptops, computers, phones on a daily basis, but I got the 5th TV in a row, but I have no idea where to look for the cause with this symptom of a flashing diode model 42LG3000 one zero too few I gave .

What have you done so far? Any measurements?

I will be taking measurements tomorrow and will let you know what I have found. I'm still puzzled by this diode, which could signal some kind of fault, and I haven't found anything about it in the schematic either.

I have just replaced the capacitors and the picture showed up but no backlight, I am checking the inverter.

Anyone help what voltage should be on the inverters ?

    Added after 12 [minutes]:

aha and one more thing there are two inverters in the TV, could both of them fail ??

    .

Dear service technician of laptops, computers and phones, after all, you have a diagram, the voltages are also given on the board, I'm afraid seeing these words "I check the inverter" that instead of backlighting the matrix you will "light up" yourself.
You were supposed to give the results of the measurements, how can you advise without that?

The only thing I have been able to determine is the inverters are not getting power, I am hoping for help on this issue on what to check, could it be the power amplifiers ?

As for the inverters check the blue capacitor. marked on the photo.

As for the voltage it should be 24V. What capacitors did you replace?
As in the inverters you have this blue capacitor burnt, just solder it and it will work without it.

I replaced all the capacitors that were on the power supply and the image without backlight appeared, the inverters do not get power. LG 42LG300 TV Standby LED Flashes Red 3 Times, Won't Turn On LG 42LG300 TV Standby LED Flashes Red 3 Times, Won't Turn On

And on my inverters there was no that blue capacitor.

I have fixed the power supply to the inverters, they get 24V, but still nothing.

    Fuses on the inverters working?
    Backlight not even flashing? zero?

Today I'm going to check the inverters thoroughly, the backlight doesn't even blink, is it possible that both inverters are dead ? or if one stops working, the other won't either ?

Added after 2 [hours] 59 [minutes]:

Replacing the capacitors on the inverters helped, thanks to everyone for their help.

Hi guys I know this topic has been going on for a long time but I have the same problem the indicator light blinks 3 times then the blue light comes on and nothing.
Turning it on a few times helps and the TV starts up after one time I should add that the inverters do not get voltage what to check help.

I recently had exactly the same problem with the same model (42lg3000) 3x red LED --> blue and TV would not start. Replacing the power supply board helped. Greetings

3 flashes = inverter overload - something is trying to draw too much current.

Check these LED's - maybe there is a problem with one of them, maybe a connection problem. Remotely we can only 'speculate'.

    .
What LEDs should he check, as there are fluorescent tubes in the backlight.

Sorry to post here, I am new and can not navigate here but I have a similar problem. LG TV 42LN5708 while watching, first the picture turned off, after a while the sound, after switching off and on again, the standby LED flashes three times and the TV does not work, neither sound nor picture, when trying to illuminate with a torch you can not see anything, dead, what does this three-flashing mean and what could be wrong in it?

Nothing, in LG no error codes.
Did the voice disappear by itself or after playing with the remote?
If the voice disappeared after playing with the remote, you probably switched the source, possible backlight problems.
Read up on the forum about this tv.

The voice disappeared on its own after a short while, then I turned off the TV. Thank you for your answer.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an LG 42LG3000 TV that fails to power on, indicated by the standby LED flashing three times. The user, experienced in electronics, investigates the issue, initially replacing capacitors on the power supply, which restored the image but not the backlight. Further troubleshooting revealed that the inverters were not receiving power. Suggestions included checking the blue capacitor on the inverters and verifying the voltage supply, which should be 24V. Ultimately, the user found that replacing capacitors on the inverters resolved the issue. Other participants noted similar problems with the same model, recommending power supply board replacement as a potential solution. The three-flash LED signal was identified as indicative of inverter overload or a fault in the backlight system.
