Hello I have a Stiebel Eltron DHE 18 heater with EIB connectivity. I would like to control the temperature remotely. What would need to be done to be able to use the EIB port? I have searched a bit on the manufacturer's website, but have not found anything interesting.

In short, plug the heater into an existing EIB (actually KNX) system. If you don't have anything you can start creating something from scratch, but be prepared for a price shock.

But I don't have an existing system. I would like to connect with my controller to the connector in the heater and control the temperature remotely. What should I do, or can this be outsourced to someone?

You can probably use your controller for this. KNX is an open standard, if you insist you can probably create it yourself according to the specifications. For example, here: is an example of how to make a gateway to KNX out of a Raspberry.

Hello

You can probably use "your controller" for this. KNX is an open standard, if you insist you can probably create it yourself according to the specifications.
