    Hello!

The problem is with the car

    Audi A6 C6 2004 2.4 petrol

A few days ago, while driving on a paved road, information appeared on FIS

    1. "parking brake malfunction"
    2. ABS / ESP Fault see owner's manual

In addition, the sound signal and the ESP lights are on as if it was turned off and yellow from the brakes

Since then, the error appears notoriously after driving a few meters, but recently I covered 3 long routes of about 140 km, one and the error did not appear, later I covered a few short routes in 3-4 days and nothing, then it came back again.

After connecting the diagnostic cable, the following errors appeared:

    P1653 Read DTC memory of
    ABS CM, Implausible signal, static
    P0571 Cruise/Brake Switch (A) Circ.
    Malfunction, Implausible signal, static

    00526 Brake light switch
    Implausible signal, intermittent

01502 Left rear fog lamp bulb (L46)
Open circuit/short circuit to ground, static

    01316 Brake control module
    Please read DTC, intermittent

    02273 Static current stage 2
    interim

    02276 Static current stage 5
    interim

01964 Memory Seat Control Module / steering column adjustment (J136)
    No signal/communication, intermittent

00470 Combination comfort databus in single wire
    Open circuit, static

I am a user of the audi a6 forum, after analyzing the problem, most would bet on the abs pump control module, but after contacting one company dealing with the repair of this module, you said that the problem will lie elsewhere. There are many similar topics, but none of them give the slightest hint of a solution to the problem :(

I am asking you for help! Maybe someone can tell me where to look for the problem

I will add that there are no problems with braking, everything works fine, only the information on the fis

At the beginning, I will ask you to check if the plugs are not "green"
Then VCDS and logging into the engine - do they see each other.

What are you diagnosing it with?

Besides, I understand, you deleted these errors and checked what was left?

A moment ago I turned the ignition and the information showed that the battery is discharged and I have to start the car and wait 3 minutes after entering the battery charge state in the MMI showed that the battery is full.

I check the car with the autel diagnostic device and with the cable via the carport program (I bought the cable yesterday and it turned out that it does not work with other software, so VAG is not available at the moment, only tomorrow when another cable will arrive)

After erasing the errors and driving a few km, the error persists

    On the engine:
    P1653 Read DTC memory of
    ABS CM, Implausible signal, static
    P0571 Cruise/Brake Switch (A) Circ.
    Malfunction, Implausible signal, static

    And on the brakes:
    00526 - Brake Light Switch (F) Sporadic

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

ps. in autel OBDII does not show errors only Audi/VW shows the two above

Have you checked the Brake Light Switch (F) Sporadic??

Well, I don't know what it is, I checked all the fuses, I undressed the rear wheels, I checked the pins, plugs, I plan to do the same in the front

    Added after 7 [minutes]:

I found something like this but I can't locate which plug it is on the net :)

00526 - Brake Light Switch (F): Circuit Malfunction
    Possible Symptoms
    MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light)
    No Brake Lights
    Possible Causes
Wiring and/or connections faulty between Brake Switch, Brake Lights and/or ABS Controle Module
    Brake Light Switch (F) damaged
    Brake Light faults
    Fuse(s) faulty
    Possible Solutions
    Check wiring and connections
    Replace Brake Light Switch (F)
    Check / Replace fuses(s)
    Check/Replace Brake Lights
Check Brake Light Switch (F) in ABS Measuring Block
    Special Notes
FAQ 2.7. Many Automatic Transmission Control Modules will show a DTC 00526 or 17087 that indicates a faulty brake light switch. This can be ignored and will not appear if you press the brakes once before checking for Fault Codes.

Have you tried to replace? Or re-set?

There are no replacements from anyone, but now the question is which of the 3 options is the right one ... when I pulled it out, this rod was extended to the max when I tried to move it as if the gear (Sound) tried and went down. It can be moved but when I press it, it falls to the bottom and comes back on the spring only a little

Unfortunately, I can't capture the video only with the photo

Inside there is a blue dinks, as he regulates these positions, he moves from right to left, moving forward more and more

Without exaggeration :) But I can do what not what to do myself now mainly depends on the location of the problem. A lot of people wrote that it was 99% abs control module, the cost of checking PLN 50, repair PLN 350, new PLN 7,000, sending the module back, no one will give me a guarantee that it was actually broken, they will send it to me and it turns out that it is not that and you have to pay PLN 350 so I try I want to eliminate small things so that I want to be a little more sure that it's not this module

Pull this disk to the max and press the brake pedal to mount the sensor in its place. Check if the feet work and if the work of both sensor circuits is visible in the diagnosis. Or just replace it. They pounce like tabby cats.

The lights work as they should, but I ordered a new one tomorrow I will replace it and see what will be the effect I will clean it for now and an extra red brake light has appeared :D Breaking the head ... Still, it all came down to this switch but can it really be the culprit of all these errors?

Added after 2 [hours] 8 [minutes]:

Gentlemen, ending this beautiful day under the garage...

    02446 Drive, mechanical malfunction
    Faults, intermittent

    00526 Brake light switch
    Implausible signal, intermittent

01826 Steering Angle Sensor, voltage supply terminal 30 (G85)
    interim

    It goes normally...

The battery goes crazy on the MMI shows full and on fis that the battery is discharged and the car starts after the 5th attempt

    Added after 5 [minutes]:

this 02446 is a changer, probably something got mixed up with the battery, this switch will be replaced tomorrow and 01826 is supposed to disappear after some time after replacing this switch, however, there will still be messages when I replace it, I'll let you know

I'm after replacing the brake light switch, on the way to the shop in the morning abs / esp was shining informing all the time that there is a problem after the replacement I drove and nothing appears (with my luck lately it's hard to believe) you think that the errors described in the first post could cause this small switch?

It's hard to believe, I'll go again and see if the problem actually disappears, it's not my first Audi, that's why I'm always looking for an alternative solution than the service, the more that sometimes it just turns out to be crap, unfortunately, electronics shows a million other elements and a person goes crazy :( I'll let you know in the evening if the error still appears and I'll check the car thoroughly with a vag, I'm waiting for a new cable

I bought a good cable, unfortunately the previous one (I didn't read it) works only with the CarPort program and therefore I am forced to send it back and this one will arrive today, so the fun is ahead of me :)

You don't understand what I'm writing.
For vehicles from the VAG group, you need a program such as VAS, VCDS.
If you want to fix this car, start there. If not, take it to the workshop. Why make life difficult for yourself, since there is a lot of information about these programs about diagnosis, coding, etc. I will not mention the support of rosstech or adako itself.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

Alternatively, install the free TEAMVIEWER program, connect to the car and enter the code. I want to see for myself what is in this car, before we get to the cause, we will litter the topic that may be useful to someone.

In fact, I do not understand, you helped me to a large extent, the switch is replaced at the moment, no controls on the fis, as for the cable, as I wrote, I bought the cable from the carport program demo, the program is quite interesting, but apart from checking errors, I can't do anything else because 1 This is a demo 2. The cable does not work with other software. So I bought a different cable and only I will be able to make logs and delete errors

    Added after 8 [minutes]:

I know the rules of life on the forum, that's why I wrote that I have to wait until the evening until I can check the car properly, but with this teamviewer, a good option, unless you have skype, it would also be a solution :)

    I have skype too.
When I have something to do, we'll think about it,
