Hello. I couldn't find the answer to my question in this forum so create a new topic! Namely, I have a problem with finding the fuse from the cigarette lighter socket. I had a problem with this in the previous year and it was necessary to go to the service station because it was not possible to find the right fuse. Seemingly simple and in this car it was an unsolvable problem.

You have the fuses from the cigarette lighter in the cockpit under the board on the left side of the steering wheel, it is best to unscrew this small bright triangle (upholstery) to get to them.

Unfortunately, somehow I cannot locate the place you are talking about. I am sending photos of the car in the vicinity of these places and please indicate the location where it is located.

Then you looked poorly. Personally, I posted a list of fuses for the 906 model on the forum, you should also have this list with your vehicle:
    https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic2274331.html#10822365
I checked: the cigarette lighter fuse is described (even in two languages) and is located in the main fuse box. The main fuse box is under the flap shown in the first photo you posted.

In my car, the fuses end at number 24, and in this diagram the socket is responsible for fuse number 25. So where is it hidden?

Then make up your mind: you mean the LIGHTERS socket, or the so-called "power take-off socket" on the bottom of the dashboard. The lower one is essentially intended to power the wheel pumping device. Which, of course, does not preclude its use for other purposes.

If you don't notice the biggest "bull" fuse on the box, wear glasses 8-)
Anyway, in the diagram I gave it is described as 25

You have to unscrew this bright corner under the light switch. There are fuses and the rest is underneath on such a black one hanging deep inside the ankle and is also described

The corner is unscrewed to replace relays. There is enough access to the fuses under the flap with a plastic cap - you can see it in the first photo.

If someone wants to exercise as in the Olympics, his friend is right, I recommend unscrewing one screw on the torx25 and working like a human being.

Indeed: the engineers at Mercedes figured it out that when a fuse blows, the first thing you do is look for a hardware store to buy a torx 25. Then you look for a gas station, buy a fuse and replace it. Sorry, but you're telling stupid things. This is what the bottom flap is for, just to open it with your fingers and replace the fuse. This operation has never been a problem for me and it doesn't hurt my neck.

show it to me in practice, pull out the 24 fuses in this position and tell me it's a faster way than to twist this torx. I have these fuses in the crafter originally flooded, if you know what I mean. Take them all without unscrewing the flap and then install them yourself, but you, personally, not an employee or apprentice, and then start talking to me. Even with a test tube it is hard to get there so what are we talking about. theory and practice are two different things. of course after thinking it is possible to do it your way faster and more efficiently you need to have only two or three elbows in your hand apparently only then you can call yourself a "Mercedes specialist"

Academic discussion "about the superiority of Easter over Christmas"
You do it your way, I'll do it my way. If you take out all the fuses for the diagnosis of a damaged car, it proves your professionalism only badly. I usually take one out: the one that shows me the service computer or that results from the list of fuses.

I do these things myself - I don't have to use anyone else.

    I just didn't make it up. That's what I got and somehow I don't mind. :)
    Regards ;)

We are not talking about diagnosis, but about access to make it easier to do anything, in my opinion my method is simpler, that's why I promote it

The discussion is far from the topic, but please:
    access after opening the flap:
Sprinter 316 CDI 2012: Locating Cigarette Lighter Fuse, Socket Replacement, and Service Station
    access after removing the triangle:
Sprinter 316 CDI 2012: Locating Cigarette Lighter Fuse, Socket Replacement, and Service Station
As you can see, access to the fuses through the flap is sufficient and you do not need a hand with three elbows. If we try to replace the fuses through the hole after the removed triangle, unfortunately we have to do it blindly - after inserting our hand, there is no chance to see which fuse we take out.

    Hello

I have a problem and the sprinkler does not work. Does anyone know which fuse it is? The fuse box looks exactly like the picture.

    Thanks in advance and regards

There is no separate fuse for the washer. When the wipers start to move after pressing the washer, the power supply to the pump is rather fine. Check with a bulb with cables that the electricity reaches the pump plug.

I do not know about the w906 model, but in the previous version it was so that the cigarette lighter socket was under the same fuse as the radio.

    I will refresh the topic,
For me, the blower does not work, unless I connect it for a short time. The fuse of this 30a panel is supposed to work. Unless I'm thinking the fuse. Maybe someone knows who it will be

I posted a list of fuses and relays for the 906 model on the forum. Look for yourself.
    EDIT
In the main box, on the very bottom row, fourth from left, 30 amps.
You do not specify whether you have two buttons to regulate the blower (air conditioning) or a wheel - "spin" (ordinary heating). Both control systems have different faults. Maybe the engine is dead? Removing it is very easy - take it out and check it.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around locating the cigarette lighter fuse in a 2012 Sprinter 316 CDI. Users provide various suggestions for accessing the fuse box, which is located under the dashboard near the steering wheel. Some recommend unscrewing a triangular panel for better access, while others argue that accessing the fuses through a flap is sufficient. Confusion arises regarding the specific fuse number for the cigarette lighter, with users referencing different diagrams and fuse lists. The conversation also touches on the difficulty of accessing the fuses and the practicality of different methods for replacement.
